One such figure includes Vicki Lawrence, White's longtime friend and co-star on The Carol Burnett Show, Mama's Family and Eunice. "I do have some lovely stories of Betty," Lawrence said during an exclusive chat on E! News' Daily Pop, going on to reminisce about everything from the late actress' love of animals—"Betty would pick up a snake and hand it to you, 'Isn't this beautiful?'"—to the dinner parties she threw in the pair's "early Mama's Family days,"...

In the fourth season of the somewhat tumultuous sitcom Mama’s Family (a spinoff from one of the successful recurring sketches on The Carol Burnett Show), Mama Harper (Vicki Lawrence) and her makeshift family endure more comedic ups and downs. At home in the Harper household are Vinton Harper (Ken Berry), Mama’s youngest son who’s too buffoonish to move out of the house; his wife Naomi (Dorothy Lyman), a flirtatious bimbo; and Bubba Higgins (Allan Kayser), Mama’s grandson (through Eunice and Ed Higgins—portrayed by Carol Burnett and Harvey Korman on The Carol Burnett Show and the first iteration of Mama’s Family).

Iconic comedian Carol Burnett appeared on CBS' "The Talk" on Monday (Nov. 18) to reminisce about her days on "The Carol Burnett Show" and to preview her upcoming guest-starring role on "Hawaii Five-0" which airs this Friday (Nov. 22).
Burnett revealed her favorite characters she portrayed on her legendary show. "I loved Mrs. Wiggins. I loved doing Eunice, I could vent," Burnett says. "And all the movie takeoffs. I was raised in the 40s and 50s so it was a throwback to me."
One of Burnett's most well-know bits is her Tarzan yell, and according to the comedian, that yell once got her out of trouble ... only to put her in trouble once more. "One time I was in New York and I needed to buy a pair of stockings, and I was running late to rehearsal," Burnett says. "I walked into a very posh store, Bergdorf Goodmans. This was back when it first opened.

HollywoodNews.com: How cool is this?
The great Carol Burnett, who will be playing Sue Sylvester’s mom on an episode of ‘Glee’ this season, is going to appear at the La Gay and Lesbian Center’s Anniversary Gala alongside fellow comedy geniuses Jane Lynch (honoree) and Lily Tomlin (host). Matthew Morrison of ‘Glee’ has also been announced as a presenter.
Wow! This could be even better than a few years back when Shirley MacLaine showed up to honor Jenifer Lewis!
I grew up watching The Carol Burnett Show and her characters of Eunice and Miss Wiggins are classics as are her spoofs of classic movies – especially her take on Scarlett Ohara in Gone With the Wind and Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard.

Bonnie Hunt might not always have done things right on her talk show. In fact, The Bonnie Hunt Show is winding down to a series finale on May 28. But if every episode had been creative as yesterday's, Bonnie probably would have lasted a lot longer. In a tribute for her guest Carol Burnett's birthday, Hunt unveiled the most excellent of surprises. Carol seemed genuinely touched and any fan of characters like the Mrs. Wiggins and Eunice will get a real kick out of this pint size homage.
