“Star Trek: Discovery” opened strong in its initial CBS airing, averaging 9.6 million viewers. CBS expects that number to grow to 15 million viewers once seven days of DVR and video on-demand usage is included.
That wide exposure was key for CBS in promoting the CBS All Access home for “Star Trek: Discovery.” From this point forward, new episodes will only be available on the digital platform.
Already on Sunday, CBS All Access broke a new record for subscriber sign-ups in a single day, surpassing the previous record held by this year’s Grammy Awards.
That means fans were apparently ready when CBS debuted its new series “Star Trek: Discovery” in two parts Sunday night. The first episode was available for everyone to watch on broadcast on CBS at 8:30 p.m. Et and ended on a cliffhanger that was concluded in the second episode, available only on CBS All Access.

Perez Hilton left his fellow Celebrity Big Brother housemates lost for words tonight, as he made a dramatic return.
The group saw Perez stage a fake walkout on Sunday at Big Brother's request, moving into a secret room where he has been able to act as puppet-master, watching live footage from the house.
During his time away, Perez was given the opportunity to place one housemate up for eviction. He chose rival Cami Li, who survived eviction minutes before he made his return.
The group had speculated about events following Perez's walkout, unsure if it had been genuine or a possible twist.
With housemates gathered on the sofas, the screens revealed the truth behind his exit. A shocked Cami Li watched as she discovered that Perez had been responsible for her being up for eviction.

Big Brother attempted to lure both James Jordan and Audley Harrison with phone calls from home.
The Celebrity Big Brother duo are competing in today's task, with immunity from eviction and a reward for their respective teams up for grabs.
Both James and Audley have undertaken the endurance test, with both stuck inside a one-meter high dome. The first to crack and exit will automatically face eviction this week.
Big Brother will be offering up numerous treats in an effort to tempt them out, with a phone call from a loved one being provided this afternoon (August 30).

After George Gilbey emerged from the Diary Room carrying the red telephone, both men were informed that they could speak to their wives if they exited.

After a tumultuous week of ups and downs, it was time for the first houseguest to get the boot on "Big Brother." There were three nominees: Elissa, Jessie and David. While the consensus among the houseguests was that they wanted Elissa to go -- because she is the sister of former champ Rachel Reilly -- there was a secondary movement rumbling.
The Moving Company wanted to remove the physical threat that was David and orchestrated a shift in the house to get what they wanted. In the end, it was a close vote. David was evicted with seven votes to Elissa's five. Aaryn, who had started a hot-and-heavy showmance with David, was stunned. In fact, the houseguest reactions were apparently so filled with expletives, the footage from within the house featured nearly 100% censored audio.
“What do you think happened? You seemed to be getting along with everyone," Julie Chen asked David after his elimination.

Big Brother 15 Live Feeds are back with huge discount and same great & new features. As previously reported, CBS decided to drop Real Networks from its Big Brother Live Feeds partnership and take over the damn thing themselves, and from what we can tell,it appears to be just as good,if not better. They're offering the same great features along with a couple of new ones, and at a much cheaper price! Right now, they have an early bird discount that's going to last until June 25th,2013, a day before the show premieres on June 26th. The price for the Early Bird special is just $23.99 for the entire season, which is like $7.00 cheaper than Real Networks $29.99 price. If you decide to sign up after the Early Bird special, the price will be just $26.99,which is again, way cheaper than Real Networks. Also if you decide that you would like to...

Tonight is the final episode of Nine’s first outing of Big Brother. With 300 crew members, 42 cameras and almost 90 hours of television broadcast each series, there is no TV production quite like it. Encore managing editor Brooke Hemphill visits the set of the revived reality show to see how it is put together and finds the training ground for Australia’s television industry.
Down the dark corridor, lit only by red strip lighting on the floor, thick black curtains cover one-way mirrors. Like a sex peep show, unidentifiable silhouettes peer through gaps in the curtains. “Shhhh. The housemates are over here,” a voice whispers shining a torch in Encore’s direction. We’re in the camera space of the Big Brother house, where up to five camera crew are on shift staffing the 10 fixed cameras rationed between the various rooms. It’s a maze of corridors populated only by the camera team,...

Big Brother Live Eviction Spoilers - 8/30/2012
What a totally crazy week in the Big Brother house, if there was ever a case to be made for signing up to the live feeds it would be this week's events. Yesterday's taped episode of Big Brother hardly gave a hint of what is actually going on, and I think that honestly people will be confused coming into tonight's live eviction. Hopefully the hamsters will do a good job of bringing us up to date. Here are a few updates on what is going on in the house:
First off, the most unlikeliest of alliances between Dan and Frank did happen, with Frank double-crossing Ian into tossing his veto, while convincing Jenn to pull Dan off the block and join her alliance. Joe went into alliance with Frank, Dan, and Jenn, but, surprise surprise, that's where the fun starts.
The Status of Ian:...

Big Brother Live Eviction Predictions - Joe or Frank?
One of these men is going home tonight on Big Brother and we'll be here to bring you the result of the live eviction when it happens. Until then, though, we'd like to offer our analysis of the situation. Suffice to say, this isn't a nail biter at all, and if you are struggling with who is going to get the eviction on tonight's Big Brother that's just Mike Boogie whispering in your ear. We think it's pretty obvious and this all goes back to the problem with the coaches, and could be a problem for the coaches if/when they enter the game.
One thing adding the coaches to Big Brother has done is caused the strongest players among the house-guests to emerge first. In all cases the Coaches have sought to buffer and protect who they thought were the strongest players,...

Last night’s episode of Big Brother 12 was packed with plenty of drama and some very interesting surprise twists! We give you a brief rundown on what happened, plus a few extra spoilers that took place after the show!
Ragan and Britney on Big Brother 12 (CBS)
On Big Brother last night, we saw the end of the Head of Household competition. When we left the Houseguests in the previous episode, they were struggling to untangle themselves from a giant spider web of rope. The contest wasn’t finished by the end of the live show and left fans waiting to know who would end up the winner.
For those who didn’t watch the rest of the competition on the Big Brother Live Feeds, it wasn’t long before it was obvious who was probably going to take the competition. Brendon got the upper hand and pretty much kept it.

Of all the reality competition shows, Big Brother gives the most back to rabid fans. Unlike Survivor or The Amazing Race, the program doesn't end when the credits roll. Bb addicts with premium cable can watch Big Brother After Dark and others can stream the live feed over the internet, essentially putting themselves in the edit room. The only pitfall to this strategy is that late night or daytime viewers might catch a conversation that spoils some of the plot of the next televised episode. And when the live feed revealed that one houseguest had fled the Bb coop Saturday morning, fans braced themselves for an explosive episode Sunday. As it turned out though, it's what the editors left out of last night's show has Bb fans buzzing today.

SYDNEY -- The Australian Communications and Media Authority said Tuesday that Network Ten breached its code of practice in airing an episode of Big Brother last year -- the third such finding against the program and the network from the fifth season of the hit reality show. ACMA found that an episode of Big Brother Uncut, an MA-rated version of the show that screens weekly at 9:30 p.m., "went beyond the suitability of the MA (15+) classification" and that the network did not properly describe the episode as containing strong adult themes, sexual references, implied sexual behavior and full frontal or partial nudity. As a result, Ten and Big Brother producers Endemol Southern Star have changed how it produces the Big Brother Uncut program. This year's Uncut show will have no live elements and the completed program is to be viewed by two independent classifiers who may request changes before it goes to air.
