[[tmz:video id="0_yxmx4iup"]] Gabrielle Union made it rain all over Dwyane Wade Tuesday night -- when she threw him a surprise 35th birthday party complete with money that had his face on it!! The party was sick -- catered by Popeyes Chicken (delicious) and included live performances from Twista and Do Or Die (some of D-Wade's favorite rappers). The only downside ... the party went down after Wade and the Bulls lost to the Mavericks earlier in the evening.

It’s hard to believe another season of The Strain has come and gone but here we are, and my friends, this week, there were losses. Last week, we had to say goodbye to Justine Feraldo and Angel De Plata, two brave warriors from profoundly different backgrounds that selflessly gave their lives so their friends and their city could live. It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia masterminds Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton have cemented their status as FX‘s MVPs with a massive new three-year deal at FX Prods for their Rcg Prods. It is said to surpass the trio’s previous $50-million three-year deal with FX, signed in 2011. Like that deal, the new agreement, which will keep the trio at FX until 2017, includes a two-year renewal of Sunny In Philadelphia, which has received 10-episode orders for Season 11 and 12, to not only solidify its status the longest-running live-action comedy series in cable history but also tie My Three Sons for the second-longest-running live-action comedy in television history. Last year, FX flagship comedy series It’s Always Sunny successfully migrated to Fxx, helping to launch the new comedy-focused channel and become its cornerstone program. The upcoming 10th season of Sunny will not launch in the fall as previous ones...

The forecast is definitely sunny for Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton. On Friday (April 4) morning, FX announced a new three-year pact between FX Productions and Rcg Productions, a deal that includes a two-season renewal for "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," a series order for a new Tracy Morgan comedy and a slew of scripts. Fxp's contract with Rcg now runs through 2017. "Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton are three of the most talented comedy writers and producers in our business, not to mention very gifted actors," blurbs Nick Grad, one of FX's Presidents of Original Programming. "This deal is a testament to their skill, intelligence and work ethic, which combined to earn them one of the best overall deals in TV. Not bad for three guys who shot a pilot ten years ago for $200 and a few pizzas." Let's look at the individual pieces, shall we? "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia...

"Soap" star Billy Crystal is returning to series television with "The Comedians," which has been ordered to series by FX. Bates Motel let us in on a surprise last night: Norman Bates is a psycho. Ohhhhhh.
A pretty committed one, at that. I worried last week that we wouldn't be acquainted with the true weirdness of Norman Bates until, say, the end of the first season, but on Monday we learned that Norman's mommy issues, brother issues, motel issues, mysterious sketchbook issues, spooky asthma tremors, love of old-timey sweaters, and murky backstory are joining forces to make him a creep. It remains to be seen how much of Norman's psychosis will develop or is already developed, but at least Freddie Highmore is exhibiting a fit-for-cable level of insanity at the moment. Is it hammy too? Yes, but I wouldn't be here if it weren't.
Episode three plunged us into the catacombs of Norman's wackiness and also into actual catacombs. It was like Alfred Hitchcock Presents Tomb Raider, y'all.

Marvel has released another promo image for the upcoming ‘Age of Ultron’ event, giving us some teaser artwork for Age of Ultron #7, illustrated by Brandon Peterson and Carlos Pacheco. Carrying the loaded tagline “Do Or Die,” the teaser features several battle-scarred heroes (Cap’s rocking an eye patch, Cyclop’s melted, etc) as well as, what looks like, an entirely different character taking up the mantle of Captain Marvel.
Age of Ultron #7 will arrive as part of the “second act” of Brian Michael Bendis’ crossover event and is expected to land on store shelves in May.

Marvel, in an effort to keep their tent pole production at the forefront of the movie-going public's mind, has been trickling out stills of late for its upcoming adaptation of The Avengers. But at the risk of sounding like a thankless fan, the latest photo is a little underwhelming. Explosions? Villains threatening heroes? Do or die conundrums? Nope, just a couple superheroes taking a stroll.
The Avengers, the culmination of several solo superhero movies, including Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger will open this May 4th, and the most recent photo concentrates on the flight-less characters of Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Captain America (Chris Evans) and the Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) as they walk through what looks like either S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters or the S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier.

With its explosive mix of comedy, drama and racial politics, Spike Lee’s Do The Right Thing (1989) remains one of the most controversial and powerful films of the 80′s. Much of its enduring popularity can be attributed to an iconic aesthetic achieved through a combination of the writer-director-star’s expansive yet intimate vision, Ernest Dickerson’s glowing cinematography and – journalist Ashley Clark argues – Ruth E. Carter’s vibrant, expressive costume work. Carter’s contribution is vital in three key areas: establishing a sense of place and adding depth to the characters, supporting the film’s themes, and contributing to a bold onscreen representation of blackness which, as suggested by Ed Guerrero, “challenges and erodes the skin-colour hierarchy of Hollywood’s classic optical hegemony” (Guerrero 2001, p. 62).

A girl throws a party to which she invites her best friend, the school bully, Blaire (Linsey Godfrey) who asks what the new girl is doing there. Later Blaire's tied to a goalpost on the sportsfield and made to listen to the bullied student's complaints about her bullying to the Principal, before being stoned to death. Horatio (David Caruso) arrives at the scene to the sight of gawking students, many of whom must have been secretly relieved to see her no longer of this world. As he asks Tripp (Rex Linn) to clear the scene. Horatio finds stones were used from the construction taking place at the school, believing she was stoned. Natalia (Eva Larue) calls that 'archaic.' Horatio calls it "downright Biblical." Me Tom (Christian Clemenson) appears to relish the moment, once again. If I didn't have to write this review, I probably would have changed the channel. It isn't that this episode was bad; it just didn't have anything in it that conveyed the "Do or Die" sentiment the title implied.
The plot was formulaic and lacking in any of the genuine twists, or even true depth of emotion, that have set the standard for CSI: NY.
A girl, Olivia Prescot, was murdered at a prep school. The CSIs investigated with due diligence. The murderer was caught, and it was a student, Emmy Thomas, who killed Olivia for taking advantage of the boy she liked.
There were oddities mixed into the evidence pool, such as an ass print - to quote directly from Lindsey and Danny - that uncovered a student making amateur porn... the guts of an emperor scorpion smeared on the toilet seat left behind by Emmy's boots after an awful prank.

Each week, Survivor host Jeff Probst answers a few questions about the most recent episode of Redemption Island.
Zapatera decided to throw the challenge this week in order to vote off Russell. Is throwing a challenge ever a good idea, because I’ve never seen it lead to anything good?
The biggest risk in throwing a challenge is you give the other tribe confidence and often momentum. It’s leading by fear and it’s not a strong way to play Survivor. I do understand the reasoning. If you let someone like Russell stick around he could form a strong alliance and take over,...

Simon Cowell thinks it is time that a group won the X Factor and he is hoping that One Direction are the boys to do it.
His boyband made it past the public vote results on tonight’s penultimate show and advanced to tomorrow’s final, as we knew they would.
The music mogul has big plans for the group but admitted that it is still important for them to win the series.
He told The Mirror:
“That would be a massive, massive buzz. We’ve done the solo artists. Seeing these five guys’ faces just going crazy if their name was called would be the best thing ever.
“But people have got to want to vote for them. All this stuff about them having a brilliant future, blah blah blah… I’ve heard it a million times over the years.
“It’s going to be the most important night of all their lives.

Seems like it was not to long ago that we were all waiting for news about Ashutosh Gorwariker's new film. Amazingly the release is just about upon us, only a little less than three weeks away and we are getting even more of the picture of the world of this period thriller. Starring Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone, Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey is a true story about the Chittagong Uprisings based on the book Do or Die: The Chittagong Uprising 1930-34 by Manini Chatterjee . It is the story of these forgotten heroes and the narrative takes us through every step of the action from the initial trepidation,to the thrill of the attack, to the underground movement, daring escapes and tragic captures, and most importantly, their undying legacy.
The music is a brilliant representation of the film's story and mood. Check out the stirring 'Vande Mataram'!

Bollywood’s relation to the literary world is as old as the industry itself. Filmmakers turning to books dates back to India’s first feature film, Raja Harishchandra (1913). Dhundiraj Govind Phalke was not the only one to have found a cinematic plot in the historical legend. Novels, legends and folklore have fascinated many. But while 3 Idiots set a box-office record, What’s Your Rashee? remained a question no one was interested in. However, directors continue to be inspired. Ashutosh Gowariker’s upcoming film, Khele Hum Jee Jaan Se, is based on Manini Chatterjee’s Do Or Die. A period film ...

Guitar Hero can live in harmony with Rock Band. They.re different games and they have different songs, so you can enjoy the advantages of both and switch back and forth at will. Who cares what came first? Just build off each other and make the best games for us.
Gaming Review: Guitar Hero 5
I love the competitive modes new to Guitar Hero 5. Momentum kicks my ass when it goes up to expert. Do or Die is fun, you can streak sections and maybe your strengths will be the difference between you passing a section instead of your opponent. In Pro Face-Off, missing one note can be the tie breaker. You lose your multiplier and you.ll never catch up. Sure, other games have competitive modes too, but I enjoy these unique challenges.
It is surprisingly hard to find online players. Maybe they.re all Expert level and I.m slumming it at Hard.
