As I'm sitting here in the early hours of a Sunday morning (it's 2:41am as I type this) working on an update to the Fango Chopping List, a couple of new titles popped up that looked remarkably familiar. Sure, the similarities in poster artwork and DVD/Home Video cover art is nothing new, but lately it seems that studio/distributor art departments are getting increasingly lazy - or just severely lacking in the originality department.
One new title that hit the list this morning is a Lionsgate title called Reborn, which hits the market on November 24. No, I'd never heard of it either, but the synopsis goes like this:
When a property in the Arizona Sonoran Desert fell into default foreclosure and went up for public auction, an eager young newlywed couple jumped at the opportunity to purchase it. Little did they know it used to be a torture...
