Just one day after phoning into E Street Radio and promising fans a more varied setlist on this leg of the tour, Bruce Springsteen took the stage at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and delivered on that promise. The surprises began when he opened up the show with the 1992 deep cut “Roll of the Dice,” which he hadn’t played in seven years. They continued later in the set when he broke out “Hungry Heart” and “Racing in the Street” for the first time since returning to the road...

Six months after Bruce Springsteen suspended his world tour so he could recover from a painful peptic ulcer, he was back onstage with the E Street Band Tuesday night in Phoenix, for the first gig of the year. And while the setlist was largely the same as the one he delivered nightly in 2023, he did make some minor alterations, and create space for further additions as the year progresses.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band kicked off their 2024 tour with a blazing 29-song performance at Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona on Tuesday night. It marked the band’s first performance since Springsteen was forced to postpone the remainder of the band’s 2023 tour due to a bout with peptic ulcer disease.
Thankfully, The Boss now appears to be fully recovered. The 29-song set stuck closely to the epic shows Springsteen played towards the end of his 2023 run, including performances of “Night,” “Darlington County,” “Darkness on the Edge of Town,” “Spirit in the Night,” “Mary’s Place,” and “Backstreets.” Once again, the encore proved particularly stellar, featuring “Born To Run,” “Rosalita (Come Out Tonight),” “Glory Days,” “Dancing in the Dark,” and “Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out.”

Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band have added a new date to their North American tour.
After their Phoenix, Arizona, show on March 14, they will go to Las Vegas on March 22 to perform at the T-Mobile Arena.
Last September, tour dates were forced to reschedule after Springsteen’s peptic ulcer disease. Shortly after announcing the rescheduled U.S. dates, concert dates for Canada were also declared.
Springsteen began his music career in 1964, but his popularity didn’t rise until 1975, when he and the E Street Band did a ten-show stand over five nights in New York City. Rolling Stone later included the performances in their “50 Moments That Change Rock and Roll” list.
The current tour is scheduled to run until November 22, 2024, in Vancouver, Canada.

Being a superstar doesn’t always mean having chart hits.
From massive rock groups and boy bands to iconic vocalists and singer-songwriters, there are countless acts that have managed to inspire generations of entertainers and win over millions of fans without having ever actually notched a No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Over the years, there have been some especially surprising icons who would seem to have a few No. 1s under their belt, but for whatever reason, their songs never managed to wind up sitting at the top spot of the chart.
Not having a No. 1 doesn’t take away from these talented artists’ repertoire, and it’s pretty interesting to see how charts don’t always mean everything when it comes to a musician’s success and impact on the culture.

The Season 2 finale The Lincoln Lawyer left fans on quite a cliffhanger, setting up another solid narrative arc for Season 3. The curtains fell on season 2 with Mickey Haller’s visit to Julian La Cosse, accused of killing Giselle Dallinger. Julian swears he’s innocent as Mickey discovers that the victim is Glory Days, a key witness to the Jésus Menendez case—the client that instigated Mickey’s addiction. While it’s hard to predict where the story would go, this ending and the success of the first two seasons seem to have guaranteed the return of The Lincoln Lawyer for season 3. Fans anticipate...

This article contains spoilers for The Lincoln Lawyer season 2 finale.
Mickey Haller’s life has been very eventful. From working out of the back of his car at the beginning of season one to his own office, his own staff, and being on the front page of every newspaper in the country, the titular Lincoln Lawyer from Netflix’s hit series The Lincoln Lawyer has had quite a turn-around. A high-profile murder case ending with your client getting executed vigilante-style in broad daylight tends to boost your profile. Now sober and ready to build his life again, Mickey (Manuel García-Rulfo) has clearly made the most of his second chance.
He’s clearly busy. Mickey spends season 2 rushing around from interview to interview, case to case, striking while the iron is hot. He’s stretched thin, and that strain is falling on everyone around him. The LA Times interviews and horseback riding lessons are all fun,...

Pulp stopped in their hometown of Sheffield for a pair of shows on their reunion tour over the weekend. To make the second night even more special, they closed out the set by debuting an unreleased song called “Hymn of the North.”

Imagine walking into a restaurant and seeing Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, and Dr. Dre eating dinner together. Such was the case at The River Café in Hammersmith, England, where fans saw the trio dining after Macca and Dr. Dre caught The Boss’ recent show at London’s Hyde Park.
It may seem like an unlikely pairing, but Dre and McCartney have been friends for a while. In 2021, the rapper posted a photo of the two together, looking delighted to be in the Beatle’s company. “Here with one of my heroes!!,” he said at the time. “Paul McCartney is cool Af!! She loved dancing — especially ballet — but visiting her sister on a movie set opened the door to her acting career. Needless to say, it would change her life forever. From brief appearances in short-lived series like Demontown to leading roles in acclaimed dramas like Revenge and The Resident, VanCamp has proven that she can portray any character. While most fans know her as Sharon Carter from the MCU, she is not only an impressive...

Pulp kicked off their long-awaited 2023 “This is What We Do For an Encore Tour” at the Bridlington Spa in Bridlington, England on May 26th. The newly-reunited Britpop icons played a set full of fan favorites and deep cuts, marking their first show in a decade: “We are Pulp — I’ve not said that for quite a long time,” vocalist Jarvis Cocker greeted the packed crowd.
Cocker and company tore through the majority of their 1995 masterpiece Different Class, opening with “I Spy” and saving their smash “Common People” until their first of two encores. The set also included some highlights from 1994’s His N Hers like “Do You Remember the First Time?” and “Babies”; deeper cuts like “Weeds” and “Glory Days”; and their 2013 single “After You.”
“An encore happens when the crowd makes enough noise to bring the band back to the stage,” the band said in a statement announcing the reunion last October.

Michelle Obama was born to sing! The former First Lady indulged the crowd Friday night at a Bruce Springsteen concert in Barcelona when she hit the stage and performed like a true pro.
According to video circulating on social media, Michelle and actress Kate Capshaw (who is married to Steven Spielberg) joined Bruce’s wife, Patti Scialfa, onstage at Olympic Stadium and performed the backup vocals to “Glory Days”. In the video, Michelle and Kate are smiling and having a blast while keeping a steady beat with hand tambourines.
While the trio was on one side of the stage, Springsteen could be seen jamming out on his guitar and singing alongside Steven Van Zandt. No word on where former President Barack Obama and Spielberg were seated during their spouses’ surprise performance, but no doubt they were somewhere nearby.

Bruce Springsteen welcomed an unexpected guest to the stage during his show in Barcelona, Spain on Friday night: former first lady Michelle Obama sat in with Springsteen and the E Street Band as they performed “Glory Days.”
Obama sang and played a tambourine to the Born in the U.S.A. classic, alongside Springsteen’s wife and E Street Band member, Patti Scialfa, and actress Kate Capshaw.
The night prior to the concert, Springsteen, Scialfa, Capshaw, and Capshaw’s husband, director Steven Spielberg, dined with the Obamas at a restaurant in Barcelona.
Springsteen and Obamas’ relationship extends back to 2008, when Barack Obama first ran for president. Springsteen played several of Obama’s early campaign rallies and inauguration, and hit the road for him again during his 2012 reelection campaign. He even wrote Obama’s campaign theme song. Later, near the end of his presidency, President Obama awarded Springsteen with the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Bruce Springsteen. The Boss. This man’s musical talent, experience and sheer determination has undoubtedly touched many people’s lives. He has influenced many artists and, above all else, makes you dance, laugh and cry along to his music. This isn’t the first look into this man’s life and creative processes we have had. Much like Western Stars, Letter to You another sweet nugget of this man’s storytelling through his music and this one guys, is for us.

[Note: The following review contains spoilers for “Better Call Saul” Season 5, Episode 9, “Bad Choice Road.”]
It’s common practice for a TV drama to let a season’s penultimate episode be the powerhouse. Whether it’s the 9th or 12th or 21st chapter, these often have the gut punches, the crescendoes, the left-field wallops that make the finales that follow feel more like a transition to a new reality. Ever ones for sneaky misdirects, the “Better Call Saul” braintrust almost had everyone fooled that last week’s exodus through the desert had served that function instead, effectively setting up a two-part finale that dutifully finished out the rest of the unmade Season 5 moves.

The first four-fifths of “Bad Choice Road” certainly function like a deep breath before the final plunge.
