This short film is from a collection of experimental films entitled "Avant-Garde: Vol. 3:" and is from Disc 1. It's a collection of films that most folks today would probably care very little about, but for some reason I like seeing many of these unusual little art films. Perhaps you will also.
If songs like "Itsy, Bitsy, Teeny, Weeny" and "Yummy, Yummy, Yummy I've Got Love in My Tummy" are simply TOO sophisticated and enjoyable to listen to, then I have a suggestion for you. Try watching and especially listening to "The Lead Shoes"--an art film from Sidney Peterson. Peterson's reason for making the film appears to make his audience members pray for death, as the singing can only be described as hellishly bad and annoying! It's obvious that he must have been some sort of Dadaist who just liked provoking and bothering the audience instead of entertaining them or making them like his films...or, Peterson was just crazy. Amazingly, someone actually ave this film some sort of award...so I must assume that they, too, either hate audiences or were just crazy as well. Believe me, I am not this hard on all art films, but I don't see what some insist on making the viewer hate the film! To me, this isn't a good thing! Opening music was a test of my will to live--as was subsequent music. Seriously.
