- The names are familiar, the stories have been told - or so we think. This groundbreaking series brings four of the most famous engagements of the Civil War to life like never before. Unflinching, uncompromising and graphic, the images and stories presented here show these battles for what they were, with all their brutality, horror, devastation and desperation.
- The series is called Civil War Combat: America's Bloodiest Battles. There are 12 episodes.Because one of the episodes is mistakingly listed as Civil War Combat: America's Bloodiest Battles: The Hornets Nest at Shiloh. The episode is then not listed as a separate episode. There should be 13 titles. One for the name of the series; Civil War Combat America's Bloodiest Battles (without the Shiloh episode being in it's title). Then there should be 12 episodes. The Hornets Nest at Shiloh being the 12th episode that's missing because it is mislabeled as the series, and it is also mislabeled as a one episode series.I acted and did stuntwork in 7 of the 12 episodes including; the mislabeled The Hornets Nest at Shiloh(1) episode.(both Gettysburg episodes )Little Round Top at Gettysburg(4) ,The Wheatfield of Gettysburg(2),The First Manassas(5),The Bloody Lane at Antietam(3),Fredericksburg(6),Chancellorsville(7).(I only listed the episodes I was in) All the episodes are also not listed in the order they were filmed. They were released in sets of 4 episodes. The first set contained The Hornets Nest At Shiloh,The Bloody Lane at Antietam,The Wheatfield at Gettysburg, and the( Cold Harbor episode-which I did not work on).(I worked on 3 of the first 4 episodes) The second set of 4 contained; Little Round Top Of Gettysburg,The First Manassas,Fredericksburg and Chancellorsville.(I worked on all 4 episodes of the 5th - 8th episodes),(my daughter worked on 2 of the second set of 4 episodes Little Round Top at Gettysburg(50,and The First Manassas(6) ) The third set of 4 episodes contained the remaining titles of the 12 episodes-(which I did not work on.) (Not only does the series and 12th episode being mislabeled make it hard to get credit for,but it also makes it hard to order the set of 4 episodes someone might be interested in purchasing, since they are released in 3 (4) episode packages and are not all availible together as a 12 episode package). The first 4 episodes are availible many places, the other two sets of 4 episodes are harder to locate and usually have to be ordered. It seems that alot of possible income for the owners of the series was lost due to them not being availible as an entire set of 12,and that the second two sets of 4 were not as availible.
