Adolfo, a young artist with a wealthy father, decides to enter the priesthood, pleasing superiors at the church where he paints frescoes. Then, over three days, Adolfo receives shocks to his celibacy: after painting idealized women as angels, he stumbles upon friends making love in a barn; he meets an innocent village girl, and that night, a succubus visits his bed in the girl's shape; next he watches a nocturnal encounter between a servant woman and his mentor, Father Galliano. After a second night with the succubus, Adolfo seeks out the village girl, his moral compass askew. Can Galliano save Adolfo from scandal and preserve his father's money for the church?
