I first saw Green Room a few months ago and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. Writer/director Jeremy Saulnier‘s nasty, brutal thriller has wedged itself into my brain in a big way – it’s the kind of movie that’s so intense that it makes most hard-edged genre movies look downright friendly and agreeable. This is take-no-prisoners filmmaking […]

Harry Styles and Kristen Wiig know how to party!
The One Direction boy band member and the Bridesmaids actress were both on Saturday Night Live yesterday, and after the show, they went out for some more singing and dancing in New York City.
As seen in this Instagram, the two got down and sang along to the song we all know so well from Dirty Dancing, "(I've Had) The time of My Life."'
News: Mike Myers Returns as Dr. Evil on 'SNL'
They also posed for this adorable snap together.
Before the duo hit the town, they both sang on SNL.
Wiig crashed the host Amy Adams' monologue and sang "We Need a Little Christmas" and spread some hilarious holiday cheer.
But it was actually One Direction that stole the show as the musical guests as they performed their hit, "Ready to Run."

It's still too early to say that One Direction have joined the ranks of Alec Baldwin and Christopher Walken as Saturday Night Live mainstays, but the British pop quintet are quickly becoming an annual tradition on SNL. For the third time in three years, 1D served as musical guest on Saturday Night Live, performing two Four tracks, "Night Changes" and "Ready to Run," on the festive, Amy Adams-hosted episode, the last SNL of 2014.

NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” didn’t even get past its cold open before addressing the biggest news story in entertainment in years: The Sony Hack Attack, which led to “The Interview” being pulled from theaters.
Mike Myers returned to his old stomping grounds, reprising the role of “Austin Powers” villain Dr. Evil, who told Sony and North Korea to get ready because he’s going to “take you to school.”
Dr. Evil started in on the very premise of terrorism surrounding something as trivial as a movie. “It’s easy to kill a movie,” he said. “Just move it to January.

One Direction just released their new single "Ready to Run" yesterday, but literally nobody cares because Ahhhhhhhhh Their New Album Just Leaked. Ready to run back 2012 once again?
We've already asked readers to chime in on the Best Couple of the year, along with the Best Villain and Best Feud.
Now, it's time for the TV Fanatic staff to answer the following question: What was the best new show that debuted in the last 12 months?
Miranda Wicker: There's not even a little bit of doubt in my mind about this one: Scandal.
Dan Forcella: Ben and Kate is not only the best new show of the year, it's been one of the best overall comedies of 2012.
Kate Brooks: Perception!!!!!!
Steve Marsi: Nashville. Despite so many divergent storylines and a seeming lack of direction at times, the casting, teleplay and music are top notch and all eight episodes have been strong so far.
Gabrielle Moss: Despite an extremely mockable title, Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23 has been my favorite new show,...

In this week's 'The Tourist,' an American (Johnny Depp) quietly visits Italy and finds himself swept up in an exotic tale of romance and thrills. That kind of thing pretty much happens every time an American visits Europe; there's no such thing as a relaxing getaway there. Here's a sample of seven different things that can happen to naïve, withdrawn, repressed, puritanical Americans when we visit the much older, wiser, more experienced continent.
1. Kidnappers Are Around Every Corner.
Don't turn your back for a second. Your wife could be missing when you get out of the shower. Your daughter could be gone before she's even left the airport. Your husband could wake up in a coffin underground. There could be some hidden reason for this, or it could be just because you're an American. See: 'Fantic,' 'Taken' and 'Buried.'

Earlier this month I sat down in front of a build of "BioShock 2" in room packed with journalists from the world over. Everyone seemed to be eagerly anticipating the first hands-on experience with the title and I was certainly no exception. But rather than give you all a run through of the hour-long section I played (a section of Rapture called Ryan's Amusements where children are educated of the evils of the outside world) or tell you how the game plays (like "BioShock"), I figured it would be worthwhile to note the differences between the original and this latest outing.
What's the Same?
The Upside of Déjà Vu
The stunning world of Rapture, as realized in the first BioShock, makes a triumphant return in "BioShock 2". Environments simultaneously feel familiar and new, without striking the "haven't we seen this already" chord that I'd suspected it might. Exploring these previously-hidden halls of Rapture,...
