Perfect debut

"Altweibersommer" is the first TV movie which has been directed by Martina Elbert. The film is about three old ladies who are trying to earn money so that their friend is able to pay an expensive cosmetic operation.

An excellent definitely above-average tragic comedy with some outstanding actresses. A "must see" for all Golden Girls fans :-)

Mambo Kurt is the star, as always

More important than the plotline or the story events is actor Mambo Kurt. He is a german organplayer, who covers Rammstein-, Nirvana- and Guns 'n Roses-songs on his Yamaha "Heimorgel". I saw him perform six times (in Holland and Germany) and his show is really amazing. In the movie he appears as himself, and the real fan nows what that means: seventies-look, stupid remarks and laughing about his own jokes. And off course: a organperformance with mythological ego-proportions. A must-see for all the fans and for all the people who want to hear a new, fresh coversound.
