Must see this autobiography!
tea_essence26 January 2007
This is a must see if you like autobiographies. She talks about her up bringing with a Celtic mother and Japanese father. Through out the film she mostly looks at her Japanese side. Although you very much feel the presence of her whole family and her appreciation for them. She has an adopted Native American Indian brother as well. Her family was different then others she grew up with but her family really helped her through that and she has a great mother. Her Grandfather who lived in Canada at the time of the war is very much an inspiration to others at that time.Great Film. I saw it when I was like 20 and in Canada but recently passed it again at a friends and seeing it for the second time and older I got to appreciate it more.
