Garry Marshall interviews 3 veterans of stand-up comedy
shootersteve7 January 2007
For those of you who appreciate the old days of stand-up comedy, this is a must add to your collection. Shecky Green, Jan Murray, and Corbett Monica each tell wonderful stories from the days of performing in the Catskill Mountains to the present time. Not only what it was like performing back in the 50's and 60's, but stories of everyday life and what it was like to hang out with other nubile comedians of the day like Buddy Hackett. As a kid growing up in the 70's, I was a huge fan of old time comics like Jan Murray, Alan King, Jack Carter, and Buddy Hackett, to name a few, and these were the guys that made me want to be a stand-up comedian. I recommend this for anyone who is a comedy purist.
