For a start, Casper Van Dien's character basically steals one guy's girlfriend away from him by playing Sir Galahad - although the football jock was a doinkous anyway - the lady is better off without that numbis, as later events bear out. But instead of taking her safely away from harm, be puts her into more danger but cutting off the Dodge Ram, so he started it, at least on that level. Now the ute does get a bit titchy, and gets ahead and cuts him off - so even, right ? But then Vandemonium gets some A1 Alpha Male type hissy fit, and has to get ahead of the truck, then cuts him off again - not wonder "Christine" goes mental. Admittedly, after causing a crash, where, as usual, an innocent driver is at least injured, and their vehicle totalled, and none of the guilty will ever pay for it, it should all be over, and even the ute driver should have calmed down and let it go - but proves he is psychotic. Certainly most people would not cut off another car, but if they get told off, take it on the chin, and get on with their life - most people also would not Dodge Ram a Canadian petrol station and bowser, and blow it up, then take off after the almost equally guilty people in the limo - they make out they are not partly to blame, like the unseen driver is the only one wearing horns and a tail. I have seen worse - but I have certainly seen a lot better. Even in the same name other movie with Yasmin Bleeth, yes, she was also at fault to begin with, but at least she tried to make it up. Reminiscent though of a far superior Spielberg TV Movie of the early seventies - noted as much for its spectacular scenery of the Pacific Southwest - but certainly for its suspense, with the like named movie of the previous year also had, but this lacks a bit. Still better than watching whitewash dry. In this Casper the Ghost looks a bit weird - like Peter Stormare in Fargo, but he at least could act well, actually by saying next to nothing, and in some movies, less is more. Some characters certainly yap too much - like people giving reviews of movies that did not live up to their unrealistic expectations. Or is this some sort of tortuous Lee Strasberg-inspired acting exercise, to so how little talent they are displaying at least in this one - Bring back Starship Troopers - or at least the Bugs - they might teach these doinks a thing or two. Near the end, when the young lady was saying "Make it Stop!", those were my thoughts too.
