Joueurs de cartes arrosés (1896)
In the foreground a couple men are sitting at a table playing cards. In the background is a man with a water hose. The two men begin fighting so the man with the water hose is ordered to spray them. If you watch a lot of these early movies you'll notice that water hoses were a form of comedy as people apparently loved seeing people get sprayed. That's basically all that happens in this film and while it's not all that funny by today's standards it's still an entertaining film. The Lumiere Brothers made quite a few joke films like this one and while this isn't the best it's certainly worth watching.
