Several episodes of "Forensic Files" explain inductively coupled plasma (ICP) as a means for detecting metals according to their rate of evaporation. In fact, ICP is a spectrophotometric technique that measures the intensity of specific wavelengths of light emitted by each trace metal as they are heated to a very high temperature by a plasma. It has nothing to do with evaporation.
The narration frequently uses the word "ironic" , when describing something coincidental.
