"Totenstille" is an episode of the famous German "Polizeiruf 110" series, dealing with the techno scene in Offenbach. When the succesful DJ Snuff Bobby G comes home from his villa in Los Angeles, he's awaiting trouble as one of his former producers is found dead. The investigators find themselves in a scene that's very unlike their usual habitat.
You shouldn't reall expect greatness from this episode. It is a solid crime story, spiced with some worn-out gags how it's not their music and the personal drama of one investigator, so pretty much how every German tv crime movie is built up. Everyone does his job solidly, you can't really complain, but in the end you're also not sitting on the edge of your chair, waiting for the myths to unravel.
All in all you can't do anything wrong with watching this film if you're a fan of what crime movies in German television look like. If you're expecting a suspenseful hunt or something more dark and twisted, this isn't your film.
