A Modern Day Greek Tragedy
Having been separated from her husband for a little over 6 months "Mikaela" (Mimi Denissi) is anxious to be rejoined with him at the construction site he is working on. Yet although she has been completely faithful to him, her husband-on the other hand-has had a mistress with whom he expresses no real concern about his wife at all. To make matters even worse, upon her arrival all of the women involved in her husband's business seem reluctant to have anything to do with her which leaves her feeling rather isolated and alone. Likewise, rather than wanting to spend any time with her, her husband is more preoccupied with work, and this also adds to her feelings of loneliness. Now, rather than reveal any more, I will just say that this was a poorly made film from start to finish. The acting was second-rate, the editing was awful, the plot lacked focus and the script needed significant improvement. Further, the scenes-which were supposed to be sexy and erotic-turned out to be rather dull and boring. That being said, there was one-and only one-good feature in this entire picture and that was the presence of Aliki Zanou (as "Maya") who was absolutely gorgeous. But even so, there was no way that she could have saved this awful movie all by herself and for that reason I have rated this film accordingly.
