- Princess Peach kisses Mario on the cheek and he blushes. Other than that there is nothing inappropriate.

- Typical Mario action. You stomp on enemies to kill them, but it's not graphic at all.
- You can hit enemies with fireballs, but they just disappear and turn into a coin.
- The bosses usually get thrown into lava, but it's never graphic.

- Plants, fungus, balloons and feather and are used as powerups.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- The final boss fight (Bowser) can be scary to some, especially the music. Otherwise not so bad compared to "64" in minimalism. "Cave Dungeon" is completely free of scariness, but may be a little spooky for little kids, but it's spooky in a "Scooby Doo" way.
- Some of the enemies may frighten very young kids.
- This game is very colorful and cartoony. It's never scary in any part.
