Things will not be easy for Ray, Mick, or Stein as all three of them are still captured in tonight’s episode of Legends of Tomorrow. Despite the optimistic approach that Ray takes to prison life, wondering if he and Mick are VIPs and comparing the experience to “scout camp,” the pair’s time in prison will be anything but fun. In the video below, which previews this week’s all-new hour, titled “Fail-Safe,” Mick shows Ray the harsh realities of prison, a place that he’s been in more than a few times thanks to his work with Captain Cold. But this stay will be much

Liv finds herself in lock-up in tonight’s all-new episode of iZombie, titled “The Hurt Stalker.” But what exactly did she do to get thrown into the slammer? The sneak peek below doesn’t make that entirely clear, although it most certainly has to do with the stalker brains she ate, which make her go from cool and caring girlfriend to Fatal Attraction really quickly. In the video below, iZombie executive producers Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero-Wright give fans an inside look at what to expect from this week’s episode, and while Liv going through Major’s phone and turning into a psycho stalker is definitely interesting, what looks to be even more intriguing is her time in jail. How can a zombie like Liv, who is freaking out on the current brains that she’s eaten, survive without a new, fresh brain to consume? We’ll have to wait and see.

Starred Up, an unconventional father-son story set in prison, represents a number of things for British cinema. Firstly, it’s emblematic of how strong UK-set and UK-made productions have been recently; in the past year alone, we’ve had The Selfish Giant, For Those in Peril, and A Field in England among others, all proving that the country is in very healthy cinematic shape indeed. It also gives us more reason to laud young British talent – Jack O’Connell provides a mesmerizing exhibition of vulnerable intensity, plus an extraordinarily interesting journey to our shores from Ben Mendelsohn, an actor more accustomed to his native Australian dramas (as the main source of evil in 2011′s Animal Kingdom) and American blockbusters (a glorified stooge in The Dark Knight Rises in a lesser one in Killing Them Softly).
But what Starred Up also does, is reveal a way of life that moves along every day,...

The Walking Dead returns from its mid-season hiatus! When last we saw our fearless crew of zombie fighters, the Governor and his cronies waged war on the prison. Things we think we knew: Rick and Carl made it into the woods, we hope the rest of the survivors took off on their bus to salvation, and Baby Judith was likely devoured. We think. Now that the show is back, here’s what we’ve learned. (Warning: Spoilers Ahead. Do not read this if you’ve yet to watch the episode!

Last November, actress Emily Kinney – who plays the flaxen-haired teenager Beth Greene on The Walking Dead – played a concert at a convention for the show. Although the show's fans know she can sing (she crooned Tom Waits's folky 1999 rocker "Hold On" in one episode) they might not have been aware of her work as a singer-songwriter. So far, she has put out two EPs of heartfelt, emotional indie rock. "I wasn't sure if they would be bored, because I'm not talking about zombies," she says, laughing on the phone...

Oz Episode 1 Season 1 ‘The Routine’
Written by Tom Fontana
Directed by Tom Fontana
Aired July 12, 1997 on HBO
I once was asked to describe the show Oz in terms of other shows that it what I told them was that it was The Wire-in a prison meets Game of Thrones with less subtlety and more full frontal nudity. Going back and watching the pilot a few years after having finished my first run through of the series, I wasn’t far off. Either way Oz was the grittiest, darkest that show HBO had ever produced when it started in the 1996, and since its run ended in 2003 little has come in its wake to take that title away.
The pilot episode of Oz was aptly called “The Routine” and it laid out much of what would make this show memorable. In the words of narrator Augustus Hill (played by Harold Perrineau Jr) “Oz,...

When I first read that Anders Holm was slated to guest star on The Mindy Project, I gave thanks to the TV gods for bringing together two such talented comedic actors.
Sadly, Mindy and Pastor Casey failed to generate any convincing chemistry on "My Cool Christian Boyfriend."
Their timing just seemed to be off in that first date scene, with jokes about the Winklevoss twins and infectious disease walking tours falling flat. I thought we were in store for some redemption when Moby began spinning at the church service, but Casey's entrance was certainly lacking power of The Lord's Force.
If you're going to be edgy, give us some sort of energy. Maybe a smoke machine or a couple strobe lights. His sermon was a quality opportunity to surprise not just Mindy but the viewers as well. I would not have testified or given the tiniest of "Amens" to that "I hate God" allegory.

They keep saying they want to "occupy" me. I don't what that means, but it sounds dirty."
This week's episode had more twists and turns than usual, and everyone in the cast had his or her moment.
Let's start with Emily, who's still waiting on news of Daniel's release, and in the meantime decides to pay a visit to little half-sis Charlotte, who's now a full fledged convert to the Rush Limbaugh Life Plan.
She arrives just in time to see Charlotte gazing at pictures and whatnots of David Clarke (aww! There's David's first tooth! Aww! There's David's first homemade protection shiv!) She also has a photo she dug out of Victoria's "drawer of incriminating evidence." It's a picture of David in prison, writing in a journal, and the date on it is the day he died.

They say the U.S. doesn't make things anymore -- that we've lost our way and are no longer No. 1.
Well, "they" are wrong. No country on Earth is capable of producing the quantity, quality and quantity of idiots that our fair land churns out with alarming regularity.
Affable favorite Paul Rudd continues the proud tradition of representing our country's most common commodity in "Our Idiot Brother," nwe on DVD and Blu-ray this week. But can he be stupid enough to join the ranks of elite morons, or does he still have a few more brain cells to kill? Let's review his imbecilic competition.

Anthony Pellicano, who’s appealing his 2008 convictions for racketeering, wiretapping, and other crimes that landed him a 15-year sentence, gave his first interview from prison to Newsweek. Though nothing too juicy emerged, here are a few highlights:
• On the FBI raiding his office: “They come to my business…I have personal stuff on Arnold … If they found that stuff, he never would have been governor.” Did he know about Schwarzenegger’s love child? “I can’t say one way or another if I knew it,” he says.
• On why he’s still tight-lipped about his clients: “When you are my client,...

Juan’s co-workers carry him to an empty cell, but when he awakes, Juan discovers that he has been abandoned in the middle of a riot in a high security cellblock, home to the prison’s most dangerous criminals. If they discover Juan’s a guard, he’s finished, so in order to survive, he poses as a prisoner and conspires with the riot’s vicious leader (Luis Tosar, The Limits of Control) to stay alive.

Prison life is getting to rapper T.I. - and he still has another 11 months to serve. The hip-hop star, real name Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr., surrendered to authorities in Arkansas at the beginning of the month and is currently serving a year behind bars for violating his parole on illegal weapons charges.
And T.I. is struggling with his latest loss of freedom - as he reveals in a letter to fans on his website. The statement reads, "I don' t know what effect this will have on my life moving forward but I'm certainly sick and mother f**king tired of going to jail, juve, prison, the pen, correctional facilities or whatever else you want to call it."
"I'd have been better off doing a 5-10 year bid one time than going in time and time again for days, weeks and months for the last 15 years of my life.

It has begun. Magnolia Pictures has begun marketing the totally insane Casey Affleck-directed documentary about actor-turned-terrible-rapper Joaquin Phoenix, officially titled I'm Still Here (formerly including the subtitle The Lost Year of Joaquin Phoenix). Either Magnolia is truly brave or they think they've got a sleeper on their hands, but I'm just curious to see it and find out what it's all about. While we wait for the trailer or any footage, an official poster appeared on IMDb this morning for the doc. It isn't particularly bold, but it is a solid design and we do get even more of the crazy Phoenix. We'll let you know once we have anything else. I'm Still Here is a documentary (supposedly mostly premeditated) directed by actor Casey Affleck and Tom Blomquist (Prison Life), who's also credited as its writer. As we head about when it was taking place, Affleck followed actor Joaquin Phoenix...
