I have a few new images from Abduction, the upcoming film with Taylor Lautner playing a young man who discovers that his parents... aren't. It's Lautner's chance to test the non-Twilight waters, and he's doing it with a John Singleton film. We'll see where that goes.
Singleton, most noted for things like Boyz n the Hood, Shaft, and 2 Fast 2 Furious, is stepping out of his comfort zone somewhat (I guess, I mean who knows what the film is about at this point) with Sigourney Weaver and Alfred Molina also involved.
Somehow, Alfred Molina makes me think something more serious is going on, despite the fact that Lautner and Singleton don't make such thoughts jump to mind.
At any rate, it would be nice to have a bit more info, but here are a few images from the film, including one "behind-the-scenes" number of Lautner and crew out for a jog.

Few rock documentaries to come along in the last several decades have come close to matching the intensity, interest, and amazing footage found in Elvis On Tour. From 1972 performances, the film was an instant classic of the genre, and is now available newly restored and remastered, and the Blu-Ray edition is a true must-own for fans.
Elvis on Tour, the Golden Globe®-winning documentary that followed Elvis on a 15-city tour of the United States in 1972, will make its debut August 3 in newly-restored and remastered Blu-ray and DVD versions from Warner Home Video. A screening of the documentary on August 14 in Memphis will follow the home entertainment release as Whv joins in the celebration of Elvis Week (August 10 – 16), commemorating the 75th anniversary of the rock ‘n’ roll icon’s birth.
Elvis on Tour, considered to be Presley’s last film before his death in 1977, was described by Variety in their review as “a bright,...

can hardly fathom myself as judge of a CD or concert DVD by Carole King and James Taylor, but this is a thoroughly impressive release, and fans will be doing themselves a real favor by picking up this uniquely intimate concert DVD. Both artists are in fine form, performing their best songs, and I doubt any other venue could facilitate this kind of concert video experience. Wonderfully produced, the DVD is about as close to being in the audience as you can get, and the set also comes with the CD, and an impressive, little booklet. More than just a concert video, this is really an historic event, and I recommend it highly. Check the full press release below, which includes info on the tour, then have a listen and enter to win.

Plus, the National hit #3 with High Violet.

Justin Bieber's My World 2.0

You might slow him down, but you just can't stop Justin Bieber. The pint-size pop dynamo will be back on top of the Billboard albums charts next week when his second effort, My World 2.0, makes the leap from #5 back up to the pole position on modest sales of 60,000, according to figures provided by Nielsen SoundScan.
Though the total is one of the lowest for a #1 album this year, it is still enough to push 2.0 over the 1 million mark. Hanging tight just behind Bieber is Lady Antebellum's Need You Now, which is down 44 percent to 54,000, just enough to stave off a strong bid from moody indie darlings the National, whose High Violet notches a career-high #3 debut (51,000). Also debuting in the top 10 is the second effort from White Stripes/Raconteurs leader Jack White's other side project,...
