Baity title, but no substance

"Poppen", which is a German term for having sex mostly used by younger people, is a 14-minute short film written and directed by Marco Petry. There is nothing too memorable about it. Basically it is just young men and women talking about love, sex, drugs and some other things, occasionally also practicing some of the previously-mentioned. Petry was in his early 20s when this was made and one year later he directed "Schule" ("School"), his first full feature film. which has very similar topics. Petry is still shooting films today 16 years later. Also in this film are August Diehl, immediately after his breakthrough in "23" and Lavinia Wilson. These two may be known to German audiences, the rest of the cast probably not. Many of them aren't even working in movies anymore. All in all, it's a pretty forgettable quarter of an hour. But it's probably accurate in terms of how young people interact, so I will not be too harsh on it. I just did not find it really interesting to watch these people and their quickly changing love interests and relationships.
