Sugar sweet cliche story of a man who meets his granddaughter of whom he knew nothing. Sounds familiar? It should; this subject has been treated in film since the beginning of cinema. Is there anything wrong in doing it again? No, but in stead of doing something new with it, we see a film that is totally predictable and thus just uninteresting and boring, not helped much by so-so direction and cast. Why not use one's imagination? My own heart aged considerably watching this one.
