Only aired six episodes in its original UPN/ABC's Saturdays morning run (depending on your region). When it was picked up by Cartoon Network's Adult Swim in 2001, seven more "squigglevision" episodes from the original season were aired before transferring to Flash for the new seasons.
In the first season, the show used the animation process called "Squiggle Vision" that debuted in Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist (1995).
Characters Walter and Perry frequently exchange voices.
Josie Small is voiced by series co-creator Loren Bouchard. According to crew commentary, the majority of her "lines" were taken from an extended recording of Bouchard making random gibberish noises.
In the Japanese dubbed version of the series, Brendon was renamed "Brandon", and Coach McGuirk's surname was changed to "McGuire".
