S Club has released their first single in 20 years in tribute to their bandmate Paul Cattermole, who died in April at the age of 46. The single, titled "These Are the Days," honors Cattermole, and the song's music video sees the band look through a photo album full of memories of their career.
The group, formerly called S Club 7 but later rebranded S Club, felt Cattermole's presence when shooting the video. "There was a butterfly. We were all sat down and a butterfly came from nowhere. It was a really bright, beautiful butterfly which flew down and went off," Tina Barrett told The Sun. "I don't know why, but I just thought, 'That's Paul.' It came from nowhere." Rachel Stevens added: "There's little signs of Paul everywhere. On the video shoot, there was a vinyl coaster and it said 'Good Times' on it.

British pop favorites S Club 7 have returned with their first new song in 20 years, “These Are the Days,” a poignant tune honoring late member Paul Cattermole, who died earlier this year as the band was gearing up for a big reunion.
Released under the slightly altered moniker, S Club, “These Are the Days” is nostalgic but still bubbly pop: “Because these are the days of our lives,” goes the chorus, “That we’ll always remember/Here’s to the craziest times/That we’ve been through together.” The accompanying video,...

In a time when most bands are wary of being boxed into a genre, Inhaler are unapologetically indie rock. The Irish four-piece make music that is uncomplicated, hooky and very listenable – if a little commercial. There’s Elijah Hewson’s accomplished vocals, that driving beat, those glimmering guitars and the romantic lyricism. Not for nothing did Inhaler score their first number one with their debut album two years ago.
Since then, their reality has changed and so too has the subject of their songs. Now Inhaler are on record navigating success. Lyrically, their music has become less relatable to their audience – but in fairness, the clue was in the title of It Won’t Always Be Like This. Their follow-up record Cuts & Bruises may not offer anything new to music, but there’s no denying its appeal.

1 February 2023 – Inhaler today share new single “If You’re Gonna Break My Heart” ahead of releasing their eagerly awaited second album Cuts & Bruises on February 17th via Polydor Records/Universal Music Canada.
“If You’re Gonna Break My Heart” is the third single to be unveiled from Cuts & Bruises, following the uplifting Love Will Get You There and last summer’s euphoric anthem “These Are The Days”.
The band explain how the rootsy, piano powered “If You’re Gonna Break my Heart” took its inspiration, “Whilst on tour in America last year we were listening to a lot of music by some of the great American writers such as Bob Dylan, The Band, Bruce Springsteen etc. Listening to these artists while travelling on big open highways resonated with us and helped shape this song into making us sound more like a live band than we had before.”

Lollapalooza 2022 kicked off on Thursday in Chicago’s Grant Park with headliners Metallica, Lil Baby, and Caroline Polachek. Like the variety offered at the topline of the fest, the day featured an eclectic mix of music. From TikTok stars to rock royalty and the return of the Kidzapalooza stage for the first time in three years, there was something for every age group on Day 1. And if there was an underlying theme beyond appealing to a wide swath of fans, a handful of artists with famous kinfolk are taking center stage throughout the four-day festival.
