Incredibly dull and slow. A disappointment for the series.
I must say the I equally enjoyed both of Tim Ritter's low budget films "Truth or Dare" and it's sequel "Wicked Games." They were creative and energetic in their attempts. So when I learned of "Screaming for Sanity: Truth or Dare 3" I was very excited to get my hands on a copy and view it. I am regretting it. It deals with the same story of the "Copper Faced" killer that were the focus of the first two films. Killings begin to happen when a sleazy businessman begins a website where he sells "memorabelia" of the now infamous killings. Joel Wynkoop also revises he role as Stauber's concerned doctor. The film moves incredible slow and it seems ages between any action takes place. It wants to put all if it's focus on the background of Stauber and a widower of a victim of his from the first films, but what Ritter failed to realize is that anyone that would be watching this film probably saw the first two and know the story. All the elements that made the first two installments entertaining are lost in this mess. The only redeeming factor is trying to figure out who the actual killer is. I hope that Ritter will eventually make a 4th installment in the series, if nothing else to redeem himself from this weak, weak, film. 3 out of 10.
