Silly comedy
suchenwi10 May 2010
Warning: Spoilers
Produced in a time when Yugoslavia was just breaking apart, this comedy does not dwell much on that reality. Instead, it features a troupe of about six comedians going through a sequence of short episodes with slapstick humor, running gags (a BMW which only stops at garbage containers etc.), and a liberal serving of brief frontal nudity.

As disclaimer, I received a DVD of this with Grand Revija magazine, issue 126, with the original serbo-croat soundtrack only, and without subtitles. As my Serbo-Croat knowledge is very limited, I cannot comment on the contents of dialogs. Still, the actors are interesting to look at even if one doesn't understand all of their words, and some scenes are really memorable - the Keystone cops on their tandem bike, the mad doctor, the music conductor...

All in all, silly stuff, but charming at least to me, so I could watch it multiple times. At a price of 3€, the magazine, including this DVD and a quite nice music CD as well, was not a bad buy. I'll check it in the future for more material I can add to my Eastern European collection :^)
