Schoders son Seppn was recently engaged to Vroni Röckl, the engagement without his fathers approval. Kaspar Schoder was known to be against progress and refused to sell his mountain side creating a conflict with the tourism director. The Röckl family, who had financial troubles would have been beneficiaries of a newly developed skiing area, if Schoder had sold his property, making them additional suspects as well. While Benno is trying to catch the murderer his mother is trying to start a business distributing her famous Toelzer streusel cake beyond the local coffee house and to a widened clientele.—Anonymous

Kaspar Schoder was known to be anti-progress and refused to sell his mountain side for decades much to the tourism directors hassle. Other suspects included the Röckl family who had financial troubles and advocated the development of the mountain side due to their imminent personal financial gain...
