In the end, only the Top 8 artists made it to the next round, with Kayko and Mia Matthews both being eliminated.
Throughout the competition, Kayko warbled tunes like “Time of Your Life” (Auditions round), “Gives You Hell” (Showstopper round), “How to Live Without You” (Top 24 round), “Over You”, “What If?”, “High & Dry” (Top 14 round), “Somebody That I Used to Know” (Top 12 round) and “Teenage Dirtbag” (Top 10 round). Chicago P.D. has finished filming for Season 11. And that means Tracy Spiridakos has filmed her final scenes.
Tracy has been an integral part of the Chicago P.D. cast for years, but the Season 11 finale is her final episode.
Fellow cast members have often shared goodbye messages on social media this spring. That included a comment from Laroyce Hawkins (Officer Kevin Atwater) that read #SaveUpton.
Star Jason Beghe (Hank Voight) also recently stated, “It’s not going to be the same” when Tracy leaves the show. He is 100 percent correct in his assessment that the show must now adapt.
Marina Squerciati also posted about getting as many Tracy hugs as possible. Marina continues to play Officer Kim Burgess – a character who has been with the show since the beginning.

American Idol fans are fuming after a decision the judges made this week. Sam Kelly-Cohen, also known as Kayko, advanced to the Showstopper round. While viewers are happy for him, they can’t get over what the judges did to his best friend. Keep reading to see why they are so upset.
Kayko’s American Idol Journey Is An ‘Accident’
Kayko auditioned for American Idol with his best friend, Abby Blake. Originally, he set out to play the piano accompaniment for his friend, but the judges asked him to sing something for them. He sang an original song called “Time Of Your Life.”
Even though he wasn’t there to audition for the competition, he wound up being offered the chance to go to Hollywood. He was in disbelief when Katy Perry offered him a Golden Ticket, asking if he wanted to go to Hollywood along with his friend.

“Put your phones away!” Billie Joe Armstrong barked to 1,100 lucky Green Day fans that crammed into New York’s Irving Plaza Thursday night for a special SiriusXM concert celebrating the release of the band’s new LP, Saviors. “Put them away! Just enjoy the moment. The last thing we need is for fuckin’ Elon Musk to be bitchin’ about anything anymore.”

Green Day songs are some of the most essential classic rock tunes of the 1990s and 2000s. However, the band drew significant influence from The Who, one of the most iconic bands of the 1960s and 1970s. Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong revealed The Who’s “Pinball Wizard” was the inspiration for one of Green Day’s singles. He feels he made some major missteps on that song’s parent album.
How The Who’s ‘Pinball Wizard’ inspired Green Day’s ‘Minority’
During a 2020 interview with Rolling Stone, Armstrong revealed the origin of Green Day’s “Minority.” After ‘Time of Your Life,’ I started getting into playing more acoustic guitar, and I really wanted to have more for [the album] Warning,” he said. “And there was also a lot of kind of bad pop-punk that was starting to happen, and I wanted to go against that genre.

Pauley Perrette could be returning to CBS.
The “NCIS” alum has been cast in a lead role in the CBS multi-cam pilot “Broke,” joining previously announced star Jaime Camil. “Broke” hails from writer and executive producer Alex Herschlag with “Jane the Virgin” creator Jennie Snyder Urman set to executive produce. In the project, when an outrageously wealthy trust fund baby (Camil) is cut off by his father, he and his wife move into her estranged sister’s (Perrette) Reseda condo, forcing the two siblings to reconnect.
Perrette’s character is named Jackie, described as a tough, sharp-witted, loving but struggling single mom with a 9-year-old son. Twenty years ago, Jennifer Garner thought her career couldn’t get better. She’d survived nine months of sleeping in a kitchen in Manhattan and eating spaghetti with butter while understudying for an Ivan Turgenev play on Broadway, scored a few walk-on parts on TV, and landed the lead in a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie in which she played a 19th century orphan.
“Making a couple hundred dollars a week to pay for my apartment, I really thought that was as good as it was going to get,” laughs Garner on an afternoon in Los Angeles. “I was completely and totally thrilled with that.”
Her Hallmark director, Christopher Cain, invited her to fly out to Malibu and stay with him and his wife, Sharon. The rental car company ran out of cheap sedans, so they handed her the keys to a convertible. One day, she drove around, got lost,...

When “9-1-1” returns this fall, there’s going to be a new lady taking all the emergency calls Ryan Murphy can dream up, and her name is Jennifer Love Hewitt — err, Maddie.
During the Television Critics Association press tour Thursday, Hewitt joined her new co-stars to discuss joining the Fox drama for its second season, after leading lady Connie Britton’s made her series exit at the end of her one-year deal — and took 911 operator Abby with her.
Luckily, Hewitt will be picking up that headset to help keep things under control in Season 2, if that’s at all possible. Especially because it sounds like Maddie has some demons to deal with on her own.

Not every actor is a fan of rebooting a beloved series that launched their career. But Neve Campbell is all in for the recently-announced reincarnation of “Party of Five.”
When the actress — who played Julia Salinger on the ’90s Fox drama — appeared on “Watch What Happens Live” Tuesday, she said that she’s totally supportive of the reboot that the original series’ creators have in development at Freeform and she’d love to stop by if she was asked.
“I love the idea of the new reboot because it’s very timely,” Campbell said to host Andy Cohen. “From what I understand [after talking with series co-creator] Chris Keyser… they’re doing it with a Mexican family whose parents have been sent across the border, and they have to figure out how to stay together and be a family and raise each other. I think that’s really poignant and important, and I’m really impressed.

Former Party of Five and Time of Your Life star Jennifer Love Hewitt is returning to Fox as a lead opposite Angela Bassett and Peter Krause in Season 2 of breakout crime drama 9-1-1, from Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear.
Hewitt will play the new character of Maddie, the sister of firefighter Evan “Buck” Buckley (Oliver Stark), who is starting her life over as a 911 operator. (The announcement was made today during Fox’s upfront presentation.)
The introduction of Maddie would help fill the void left by the departure of Connie Britton who played 911 operator Abby Clark in Season 1. Britton had a one-year deal for the show but the producers still hope that she would come back for a few episodes next season to make the transition more seamless. (Britton earlier today was at the NBCUniversal upfront presentation promoting her new Bravo limited series Dear John).

The Party of Five reboot is inching closer to reality.
The cable network Freeform has made a pilot production commitment with Sony Pictures Television Studios for a new take on the ’90s Fox drama, THR.com reports. Original series creators Chris Keyser and Amy Lippman are spearheading the project.

Dancing With the Stars welcomed its seventh week of competition with double trouble — and not just because the cast of Descendants 2 appeared for an odd, lip-synced interlude. (Seriously, why even try to fool us with those headset microphones?)
The ABC series also delivered a double elimination on Monday, and in the wake of Heather Morris’ premature goodbye, all of the remaining contestants seemed a bit rattled on the dance floor.

Now Is The Time. Now Is The Best Time. Now Is The Best Time Of Your Life. Written by Michael Levinton, Laura von Holt, and Little Lord Directed by Michael Levinton Presented by Little Lord At Abrons Arts Center, NYC October 19-November 5, 2016
Now Is The Time. Now Is The Best Time. Now Is The Best Time Of Your Life., the world premiere play by Brooklyn's Little Lord theater company, takes its extensive title from "The Best Time of Your Life," written in 1974 as a new theme song for Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress attraction. The Disney portion of this allusion is, on the whole, less important to Now is the Time, which boasts a running time of 300 years, than is the contradiction inherent in the image of a historical progress that is also a circle, endlessly accumulating and endlessly vanishing. More so than ever it seems, we've become increasingly obsessed with acknowledging the anniversaries of beloved movies, TV shows and music. Not that there's anything wrong with celebrating our pop culture past, mind you. In fact, for someone as nostalgic as myself, I completely embrace it. Which brings me to a little milestone of my own. This one, though, doesn't simply focus on a particular piece of celluloid, but instead, revolves around a certain actor whose work has been an enduring presence throughout my movie-going life.
For the last 30 years, not only have I sat and watched every single Tom Cruise film that has come out since 1986, I have done so in an actual, honest-to-goodness movie theater. That's a total of 33 silver screen experiences (34 if you count his Austin Powers in Goldmember cameo), including the latest, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back. Yeah, you might say I'm a fan.

Released in 2004 during the United States’ ongoing invasion of Iraq, Green Day’s American Idiot was sort of a hot take before hot takes were a thing. It took the experience of being an angsty kid in the suburbs who is suddenly realizing that the world is kind of fucked up and transformed it into a pop-punk rock opera about people with names like Jesus Of Suburbia, St. Jimmy, and Whatshername. In 2010, a stage adaptation of American Idiot opened on Broadway, featuring all of the songs from the album plus some from Green Day’s 21st Century Breakdown and original songs created for the musical. Plus, every show would end with “Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life),” because you might as well go all the way when you’re staging a Green Day musical.

What does Jennifer Garner have in common with Lisa Simpson? That would be their love of playing the saxophone. Garner, 43, showcased her sax skills in a video posted on Vanity Fair Thursday, playing "Mary Had a Little Lamb." Adorably, she was nearly unable to finish after she started laughing. Garner had played saxophone in her school's marching band. She demonstrated her talent by playing country singer Hank Cochran's 1963 hit "Make the World Go Away" on the Donny & Marie show in 2000, when she played Romy opposite Jennifer Love Hewitt on the drama series Time of Your Life. "It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right -- I hope you had the time of your life." While it's a little early to start playing Green Day's "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)," the lyrics are still fitting as we say goodbye to one of the most iconic elements of American Idol -- the auditions.
Yes, the auditions can be unpredictable at times -- why did the judges give Brian Dale Brown a golden ticket? -- but in the end, it's all about the journey and having fun along the way.

Jennifer Garner's production company, Vandalia Films, has inked a two-year deal with Warner Bros. TV to develop and executive produce series projects for the TV studio, reports Deadline.
The company was previously based at ABC Studios, but the only production to its credit so far is "Butter," the 2011 comedy about butter-carving in smalltown Iowa.
At Vandalia, Garner is joined by executive Juliana Janes, where they have several other projects in development. Per this production agreement, Garner will receive executive producer credit on projects that are developed and produced by her company for Warner Bros. TV.
There's no word yet on just what series projects Vandalia Films will produce. Garner is a veteran of TV, however, starring on "Time of Your Life" (1999-2001) and "Alias" (2001-2006).

Not many bands can draw a crowd from so many generations. From 6 year olds in banners bigger than they are to teens with My Chemical Romance tattoos to middle age punks with Bad Religion jackets they are all being represented here today.
All Time Low are essentially a Blink 182 tribute band to the kids who were too young for the three piece. Their perky pop with guitars is entertaining enough although unoriginal. The more upbeat ‘Time Bomb’ and ‘Lost In Stereo’ go down best in a half empty stadium. Jack Barakat, per usual, lowers the tone with butt and your mum jokes and it just feels unnecessary and a tad creepy.
With a back catalogue like the Kaiser Chiefs it’s hard to not get a crowd singing. Ricky Wilson is on form running from corner to corner of the stage and up the frame work like a hyperactive child.

Newsflash: Simon Cowell is supposedly interested in booking Jennifer Love Hewitt to replace Britney Spears on The X Factor next season. Yes, that Jennifer Love Hewitt.
On the surface, this idea seems, well, sorta nuts. Despite five recent-ish seasons of Ghost Whisperer, Hewitt hasn’t been particularly relevant since her Party of Five days, and her brief early-aughts singing career was unmemorable at best. (Though you’ve got to admit, “BareNaked” is still pretty catchy.)
Dig a little deeper, though, and suddenly the rumor starts making a weird kind of sense. Hewitt’s certainly as famous as, say, Paula Abdul...
