The Spanish-language title for this film literally translates to 'Traffickers of Love.'
This was showbiz veteran Blanche Mehaffey's final film role. It was released shortly before her 30th birthday.
The roadhouse sequence is included as supplemental material on Something Weird Video's DVD triple-feature release of Marihuana (1936), Assassin of Youth (1938) and Reefer Madness (1936).
As part of the film's exploitation, the production company Real Life Dramas ran a contest offering cash prizes to viewers who wrote the best letters summarizing "the facts presented in the picture." First prize was $500, second prize was $250, and third prize was $100, with additional prizes of $5 and $10 offered.
In at least one venue (the Maryland Theatre in St. Louis, Missouri, in February, 1939) the film was paired with Virgins of Bali (1932) for adults-only, midnight screenings.
