This is the only version of the franchise in which He-Man and Adam are voiced by two different actors.
The cartoon series was intended to be a continuation of Filmation's "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" series.
Unlike the Filmation cartoon and the 2002 Cartoon Network reboot, Prince Adam reveals to King Randor and Queen Marlena that he is He-Man. The only time in the "He-Man" franchise.
Gary Chalk later provided the voices of Man-At-Arms and Whiplash for the reboot He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (2002).
