The Hell's Kitchen competition is inching closer and closer to that highly coveted prize of a new job as Head Chef at Chef Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen restaurant at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. So you know what that means. Yep, the drama is getting much juicier!
A brewing feud on the Red Team seems to be encompassing most of the female contestants with Elise at the helm, but this episode finds Barbie having a bit of a meltdown. Can she pull it together in the name of a team win? Or will she fold under pressure and give her teammates one more thing to complain about?...

I smell spinoff!
It was set up perfectly at the end of NCIS: Los Angeles Season 8 Episode 22.
Take Hetty and her old Vietnam-era comrades, Chegwidden, Bridges and Langston, and let them use the off-books gold they've been holding onto for 30 years to help veterans and, as Bridges suggested, to hunt down criminals.
Let them kick ass and take names, and since they're extra-legal, they wouldn't have to worry about niceties such as civil rights. It would be Ok to do a Da Nang Pickup.
They could even bring in Gibbs as the probie, although that probably wouldn't fly on the mother ship.
Call it NCIS: Golden Guys. No, since Hetty's involved, let's go with NCIS: The Golden Years.
The franchise could stand a new direction. It would have to be better than NCIS: Red Team.
I thought Chegwidden was being brought in to replace Granger. But this brings in two more colorful characters as well.

Sorry, Kensi and Deeks, you're going to be on overwatch duties instead of settled in at a couples retreat for the undercover assignment in NCIS: Los Angeles' "Getaway." After the U.S. Treasury Department is hacked, Eric and Nell are the ones to go undercover to track a tech-savvy husband and wife linked to the crime.
And while they're inside the couples' retreat, Dave Flynn (remember him from the NCIS Red Team?) arrives from the NCIS cyber office in San Diego to run ops.

Chef Gordon Ramsay has had enough of the Blue Team. So far in season 16 of Hell's Kitchen, the new Blue Team has not been able to work together as a solid unit. This has caused them to have two disastrous dinner services in a row, while the Red Team is running away with the whole thing.

The last elimination on season 16 of Hell's Kitchen caused the Blue Team to become an even more divided team. A bitter feud broke out between Andrew and Devin, with the majority of the Blue Team sticking by Andrew and trying to get Devin eliminated.
Devin is not the only chef feeling cast to the side by their team. In the new episode, "Let the Catfights Begin," one member of the Red Team's lackluster attitude will push her teammate too far, which could bring the end to their once solid team.

Time flies, doesn’t it? It seems like just yesterday I was watching Animaniacs Live, interviewing folks about Turtles and cartoons, seeing the latest in geek fashions, hanging out with American Gods, and chatting with the Kings of Con at Sdcc, not to mention chillin’ at Nerd HQ. As you undoubtedly know, San Diego’s Comic-Con International happened this past weekend, and I was fortunate to be amongst the tens of thousands of attendees. There was, as always, a mega-ton to see and do, and it was hard to keep the Fomo (Fear Of Missing Out) from getting completely out of control over the 4.5 days of the con. To stay sane, though, at some point you just have to accept that you’re going to miss a bunch, and focus on what you do have the opportunity to see.

During the last Hell's Kitchen challenge, the Red Team and Blue Team were dangerously close. But, it doesn't mean that our chefs are constantly handing over perfect dishes. Tonight Hell's Kitchen is competing against the Victoria's Secret Swim Special with guest stars Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas, so it looks like Chef Ramsay is going to pull out all the stops to make sure his viewership stays strong. It looks like our chefs will be equipped with a bow and arrow sometime tonight, you guys. Let's hope they point it at the target, and not at each other. (I'd be worried about fatalities between Manda and Jackie, especially.)
When we last left the chefs, there was a bit of a switch-up. Chad is now repping the Red Team, and Dannie has been moved over to Blue. "I think Chad on our team will work extremely well," Kristin says. She has a lot of respect for him, which is good. Hopefully he'll be able to communicate with the ladies better than he communicated with Jared.

Previously on Hell's Kitchen, there was some bad blood between Hassan and Dannie, and all of the chefs royally screwed up Family Night especially Kevin who was kicked out mid-service, permanently. The Blue Team also lost Alan, which I personally think was a misstep. Manda has been reassigned to the Blue Team, so hopefully she can get them into shape.
Right after elimination, Jackie thinks Ashley is acting a little two-faced, mentioning the fact that Ashley has fake boobs while hurling insults. "You can never run a kitchen, honey. Never in a million years," Jackie insults. And since she's Jackie, she doesn't know when to call it quits with the harsh words. Manda reiterates that she's so thankful she's no longer on the Red Team anymore.

Last week on Hell's Kitchen, Dannie and Ariel had some harsh words to say to each other, and the Red Team was in such poor shape that Chef Ramsay forced Hassan to switch teams and try to even out the competition. While this definitely isn't a Hell's Kitchen first, usually Chef Ramsay performs the ol' chef switcheroo in later episodes. I guess when you have chefs that have the gall to serve Kris Jenner bad food, things need to be remedied quickly.
Jackie celebrates being saved by giving her team the double thumbs up, keeping it classy as always. Supposedly, she's been nicknamed the "cancer of the team" by her teammates, and while that's a harsh title, it's somewhat true.

And yet as CBS ponders the fate of its acclaimed Sunday-night drama in the wake of creators Robert and Michelle King announcing they’ll step down as showrunners at the end of Season 7, here’s hoping they’ll heed the immortal words of “The Gambler” and prove they “know when to hold ’em, know when to fold ’em… know when to walk away, and know when to run.”

In a move to (possibly) gain the American Idol viewers who are too lazy to turn off their television, Hell's Kitchen made a daring move to Wednesday nights. Last Friday, we saw Sherkenna leave the kitchen -- who will it be tonight?

On this episode of MasterChef Junior, "When Life Gives You Lemons," the remaining 14 home cooks put an upscale twist on a favorite beverage. A retro-themed challenge has seven young chefs struggling to stay in the competition.
It is December, not exactly the time of year you crave a tall, cool glass of lemonade. I'd say a cocoa challenge is more in order. But the top 14's first task is to create a yummy lemonade. The kids are split into two teams of seven: Jesse, Kya, Kamilly, Sam, Ian, Avery and Jj (Red Team) vs Addison, Corey, Mia, Zac, Tae-Ho, Amaya and Kaitlyn (Blue Team).

Last night’s episode of Limitless might not have been the best episode of the show so far — slightly too many Drug Zombies — but it was certainly the most Important. A lot of things happened for Brian and Rebecca! Bradley Cooper showed up on a roof! A guy blew up! But we’ll get to that later. As is now routine, we pick up right where last week left off. Rebecca now knows that her dad was taking Nzt and being tracked by the FBI. The time has come to boldly go to our nation's capital, a terrifying place full of fedora-clad randoms on the FBI's most wanted list -- by which we mean Raymond Reddington. Oh, and if you're wondering where Elizabeth's estranged husband Tom is, he's presumably wandering the world to find someone to remove his S.S. tattoo. At least we assume as much.

On episode five of Project Runway , the designers were split into two teams to create a six look collection. While the Blue Team, (the men plus Merline), worked like a dream together but the Red Team, (the ladies, struggled with a cohesive vision from the very beginning. Their lack of direction definitely showed. But here are the looks from the episode ranked individually from worst to best. As always, tell me your thoughts in the comments.

I’m not going to lie to you: I’m a lot more excited than I ought to be about the prospect of The Good Wife‘s seventh season focusing on Alicia Florrick tackling daily home-renovation projects as a bridge to her 5pm one-woman happy hour.
But lest network television’s most consistently challenging drama turn into a home-furnishings fantasy (directed by Nancy Meyers and guest-starring Diane Keaton), I’m happy to report that this week’s installment, titled “Don’t Fail,” could’ve just as easily been called “How Alicia Got Her Courtroom Groove Back.” (No, this doesn’t...

Hugh Jackman has played Logan aka Wolverine in seven different films. It’s an impressive number that will shortly increase with a third solo Wolverine film and possibly X-Men:Apocalypse, although at the time of writing he has yet to be officially cast. A few other names are snapping at the heels of Jackman, notably the cast of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. If you include the forthcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron, Chris Evans has played Captain America four times (five if you include his appearance as Loki using magic to look like the first Avenger in Thor: The Dark World), Scarlett Johansson and Chris Hemsworth have portrayed Black Widow and Thor respectively four times each whilst the King of the McU, Robert Downey Jr. has made an impressive six appearances as Iron Man/Tony Stark (including his post-credit appearance in The Incredible Hulk).
Unfortunately for Hugh Jackman, as far as this article is concerned,...

Hell's Kitchen has been unpredictable this season. The Red Team wins the challenges yet is constantly ejected from their kitchen during dinner. Meanwhile, the Blue Team can't win a challenge yet manages to hold their own through dinner. What's with the emotions this season? If they're not crying, they're screaming. This episode looks to have sirens, but I'm sure it's not what we think.

Last time on Hell's Kitchen, with only 16 left in the competition, the chefs were woken up and sent straight to their chilly challenge. With the Red team's winning momentum pushing them onward and upward, they were able to clinch the win in the fish challenge despite a minor hiccup in the first half. However, it turned out a nice respite from the prep work in the kitchen to catch some waves on the beach wasn't enough to keep them from crumbling under the pressure of Gordon Ramsay and dinner service.

This week’s Newsroom brings back a move the series introduced in its second season: Leona ex machina.
It’s a dramatic device that happens when the queen of Atlantis World Media swans into a scene and instantly solves the problem at hand, kicking butt in designer heels while she’s at it.
Remember how Jane Fonda’s character showed up at the end of the “Red Team III” episode, just in time to reject Charlie, Mac and Will’s resignations over the Genoa debacle? Leona ex machina!
And then, at the end of last season’s finale, when the Mrs.

As we saw last week, Blake learns that "it's not over," and gets to give Bob a sexy hug at his house.
Things aren't so lovey-dovey back at camp. The three teams meet up on the field, where Alison tells them they've officially reached the halfway point. Oh, and also Damien broke his arm or something? He has a sling, which he says is due to a boxing injury. Why didn't they show that on camera? Anyway, they'll be coached by NFL athletes this episode. The Red Team is assigned Michael Irvin, who played with the Dallas Cowboys and is a three time Superbowl champion. The White Team will be coached by Donald Driver, who does a funky dance before announcing that he's from the Green Bay Packers. Willie McGinest is up next, and like the rest of the crew, he's won a lot of Superbowls. Also, he knows Damien!

We’re now in the first sweeps period of the current television season and its fair to say that while several new series are entertaining, few are measuring up to our increased expectations. As a result, it’s refreshing to see that in one week, one of the smartest shows is returning albeit for a truncated final season.
Aaron Sorkin’s The Newsroom debuted on HBO in June 2012 and was immediately declared better than Studio 60 but still no West Wing. It has remained, though, a riveting series that reminds us that serious journalism remains an elusive ideal on television. The series is set in the immediate past, using real world events so the audience can focus on how the noble, flawed characters react and cover the stories.
The second season, out tomorrow (Election Day appropriately enough) in a three-disc box set from HBO Home Entertainment, has a major arc...

As Season 13 of "Hell's Kitchen" continues heating up Fox's TV schedule every Wednesday, Gold Derby sat down with one of our contest frontrunners, ETPhoneHome (real name Eric Tisch), to chat about what he thinks of this season and how he correctly foresaw the shocking elimination of Kalen Morgensternf during "14 Chefs Compete" week. First up, a little about Tisch. He's a 19-year-old film student at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada and says that he's been watching "Hell's Kitchen" since 2010. Besides this show, he also makes predictions in our "Dancing With the Stars" contest every week. Below, our Q&A with Tisch. -Break- Reality TV prediction contests: You need to beat these savvy prognosticators First off, how did you know Kalen would be eliminated? I predicted Kalen's elimination because the preview for this week seemed to suggest that the Red Team wo...'...

Jane Fonda is back in the Emmy derby competing for Best Guest Drama Actress for her role in "The Newsroom" as eccentric media tycoon Leona Lansing – and this time she's got several strong plusses: she's nice, she's stoned (more on that in a moment) and she gives a rousing speech in the episode she submitted to judges ("Red Team III"). -Break- Read Daniel Montgomery's fascinating article about how big, purple speeches often translate into big Emmy wins, as demonstrated last year by Fonda's costar Jeff Daniels pulling off that jawdropping victory for Best Drama Actor. Fonda's Leona gave a speech in last year's submitted episode, too, but she was lashing out at her rascally staffers in that one. This time she's on their side, refusing to accept their resignations when a scandal erupts over their botched TV news coverage. And something else is different, too … "I was stone..."...

The housemates took it in turns to get each other's hearts racing in the latest round of this week's shopping task.
The Red and Blue teams were given the challenge of individually staying calm while members from the opposing team tried to raise their heart rate.
As part of the Losers task, the one-on-one game was rigged in favour of the Red Team, but the housemates were left completely unaware.
First in the hot seat was Ashleigh Coyle of the Red Team, who faced Chris Wright, representing the Blue Team in the "scare" part of the task.
Chris attempted to frighten a blindfolded Ashleigh by getting progressively closer and closer to her face while her pulse was monitored.
The Red Team's Ash Harrison then tried to scare Steven Goode by screaming loudly. Steven's heart rate was shown to have increased more, meaning Ashleigh won the battle.

Big Brother will set a 'losers' task this week.
Housemates will be divided into Red and Blue teams, then pitted against each other in a series of head-to-head challenges.
The winning team will win prizes after every game, and then a luxury shopping budget at the end of the task.
However, the Blue Team will be unaware that the games are actually all pre-determined and the Red Team will win every time.
The real task will be for the Red Team to irritate and convince the Blue Team that they are incapable of winning, and reduce the Red Team's confidence.
The Red Team will be told that they will automatically win every game, but in fact, the deciding head-to-head game will not be predetermined, and will be fair.
If the Red Team win, due to the Blue Team believing they are incapable of winning and accepting defeat, then the...

Big Brother will rig a set of challenges in an attempt to frustrate half of the housemates in the latest task.
The Losers task will see the house divide into two teams, who must compete against each other in a series of games. The teams have been chosen so most of the confident housemates end up in the winning Red Team.
While the Red Team, comprising of Ash, Ashleigh, Helen, Mark and Winston, must try to irritate and annoy the other team, the losing Blue Team - Chris, Christopher, Pav, Steven and Zoe - won't realise that the real task is to win the final and only fair challenge.
If the Red Team triumph in the last game, the whole house will be rewarded with a luxury shopping budget.
In one challenge, teams are tasked with connecting pipes together so that water flows to the exit pipe and fills up a barrel.

Earlier today Jj Abrams continued to fight the good fight of tricking people into donating charity for their own selfish gain. With only one week left to donate to ‘Star Wars: A Force For Change,’ Abrams returned to up sweeten the pot. Now donations not only get you and a friend a trip to the set and a chance to be in the film, but your town gets an advanced screening of Episode VII as well. But while Abrams talks about saving the children or whatever other Lawful Good nonsense, the important thing is happening behind him. Jj Abrams What Did You Do To That Poor X-wing?! X-Wings aren’t blue! Clearly you haven’t done your research…or have you? Here are some reasons — in no particular order of reasonableness — for the change. #1 - Jj Abrams is King Star Wars nerd. He knows that originally the X-Wing squadrons...
