"Designs - Mamoru Nagano Design Exhibition," the first major exhibition of Mamoru Nagano , who has been active as a manga author, as well as a mechanical designer and character designer for anime series, opened at the Ej Anime Museum in Tokorozawa Sakura Town in Saitama Prefecture on February 10. It is scheduled to run until March 24. The exhibition features about 340 original design drawings, illustrations, settings, rough sketches and more from his works before his commercial debut and from his past works including Heavy Metal L-Gaim (1984-1985), Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam (1985-1986), Brain Powered (1998), Shell Bullet (2011), The Five Star Stories (1986-) and Gothicmade (2012). In particular, rough sketches of mobile suits from the Gundam series, including those that did not appear in the anime, are exhibited all at once.
