Nice family film

Good show about a senior citizen who gets a chance to do something he never had a shot at as a youth - playing baseball. He was somehow spirited, not exactly back in time, but across this dimension, to a team of youngsters he had been watching play. He brought to the team, not a great talent, but a "wiseness" that taught winning isn't the only thing. Along the way, he found some of the childhood he had missed the first time around. 2 thumbs up.

Warning Spoilers. This movie shows what came out of the 90's, good clean simple family fun, oh how i long for those days again. Only Disney makes good quality family films now. I love thomas he was the best in this movie, cute to. Mistakes: Correcting the other comment, the reason he said the name of the girl Jenny when he meet her was he had a girlfriend who died a long time ago who was also called Jenny. At the end of the film Jenny picks up the photo of the other Jenny and realises that it looks a lot like here, so Jenny could be his girlfriend reincarnated or the great great great granddaughter, that's the message i got as she had a realisation about it. Mistakes: When John and Jenny are rollarblading to the song playing over "the tag game" we see john is wearing pinkish type boxer shorts but when they are jumping on the bed he is wearing whiteish type boxer shorts, filmed on different days? Anyway it's a great film if you can find it, that and flight of the navigator are the best 10 out of 10

Excellent movie. Some mistakes though...

This movie is about an old man who didn't have a chance to play baseball when he was young, so his friend brings him to a "magical" man who changes him into a boy for 5 days. Once changed into a young boy, he is on a team the next day! (how convenient). The next 3 days he starts a relationship with a young girl on the team, delivers the coach's wife baby, and so much more. In the end (can it be even called an ending?) the boy is sadly turned back into an old man and the girls starts another relationship with her "ex boyfriend" The cost for these 5 days was a life...the friends life.

Some mistakes: Somehow the old man knows the girl's name in the beginning of the movie.
