- A group of young teenagers form a rock band.
- Thirteen-year-old Peter Unwin George Wall, otherwise known as Pugwall, is an ordinary suburban kid with a big dream - he wants to be in a successful rock band. With his mates Bazza, Orfo, Stringbean and Jenny, Pugwall creates a band, the Orange Organics. The kids play their original music and Pugwall continues his hilarious ongoing battles in the ordinary events of a teenagers life friends, school and of course, his family. His mother Supes, short for Superwoman, father Herohead, and annoying younger sister, Marmaloi love him very much, but they can make life very difficult sometimes. Adapted from the novel of the same name by Margaret D. Clark.
- After receiving a guitar on his 13th birthday, Pugwall and his friends, Bazza, Orfo, Stringbean are form a band, but they need a lead singer. Whilst in hospital after a bicycle accident, Pugwall meets a girl called Jenny, they become friends and he asks her if she can sing. She tells him she can and he asks her to join the band, she agrees and the Orange Organics is formed. Each episode follows Pugwall's trials and tribulations as he goes about his family life, and follows the band as they attempt to secure a recording contract with a record company.
