- Cat: Meow! Meow!... I'm that hungry little kitty cat you just read about... Meow! Meow! I'm so hungry, I can eat a... Woodpecker! Yeah, that's it.

- [the cold winter wind beats at Woody's window]
- Woody Woodpecker: [to the wind] Blow your head off! See if I care! It's nice and warm here, and I've got plenty of food here!
- [the winter wind pushes at Woody's door]
- Woody Woodpecker: Go on and blow! Pbbbbbhht!
- [the winter wind breaks through the door in a twister and steals Woody's food and dishes away]
- Woody Woodpecker: Hey! Come back here with my food!

- Female Bird: The weatherman's right. We'd better go south right away.
- Bird Crowd: You said it!
- [Woody and the Cat see each other as dinner]
- Woody Woodpecker: Come in! You're just in time for dinner.
- Cat: [salivates] Yeah? What are you gonna have for dinner?
- Woody Woodpecker: I'm going to have cat... fish.

- Woody Woodpecker: Let me take your scarf off.
- [Woody pulls the Cat's scarf inward but the Cat barely escapes, leaving the scarf into a knot]
