Sex & Nudity

  • A man is seen in a tanning bed, his bare chest is visible briefly. Nothing else is shown.
  • Patrick's butt is briefly seen when he showers.
  • Patrick acts like he's going to make out with a woman and instead he abruptly kills her.
  • A man attempts to strangle another man in the bathroom. The victim mistakes the perpetrators violence as a sexual advance, the perpetrator is upset/disturbed by this and leaves the bathroom.
  • Multiple sex scenes with nudity. Female frontal nudity and you can see butts but there is no nudity below the waist for female or male.
  • A scene around the start show a man watching porn.
  • A long threesome happens mid-way into the movie. It is not natural and cause distress and trauma to viewers.

Violence & Gore

  • We see a bunch of drawings including pictures of murders of women in a sketch book. Nothing too explicit.
  • There is a severed head seen in a fridge. This is not graphic.
  • A homeless man gets stabbed in the stomach by an other man. Not graphic at all.
  • Violent, but very little is onscreen. You really only see aftermaths of violence.
  • A man kills an escort. Some blood and the violence is offscreen.
  • The movie shows several gruesome killings with blood on display. These involve stabbing, shooting, explosions, bashing, hacking, and chain-sawing, frequently involving women. The movie tends to cut away at the last second. However, severed heads and body parts are shown in a refrigerator and a closet. A clip from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is shown on television during one scene.
  • A man is killed with an axe offscreen.
  • A chainsaw is dropped on someone from a great height. The impact is offscreen and no sounds are heard.
  • A few bodies of people are briefly shown in a closet, and a bloody corpse is partially seen in a bathroom for a second.
  • One woman is briefly seen with a slightly bloodied face after an implied act of violence.
  • A man is bloodlessly stabbed a few times around the upperbody.
  • An animal is swiftly stepped on and killed but this is partially obscured by a trash pile. Not graphic.
  • An old woman is shot in the chest and drops dead. A kitten is threatened with a gun.
  • A policeman is shot in the chest and a squad car blows up.
  • A woman opens a book and is shocked to find preschool-level drawings of people being murdered.
  • A watchman and a cleaner are killed quickly by a gunshot. No blood seen.
  • A man is shot in the head and slumps back in his chair with blood spraying on the wall behind him. This is extremely brief

Profanity

  • 25 uses of "Fuck".
  • Strong, fairly frequent language includes "fuck," "shit," "asshole," "bitch," "dick," "vagina," "Goddamn," "loser," and "faggot."
  • Most of the profanity is said by the MC.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Many characters, especially the main character, drink alcohol frequently, as well as smoke cigarettes and cigars, snort cocaine, and take pills.
  • A man drugs a woman's drink.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The movie has a few scenes of violence.
  • The murder scenes can be quite brutal and horrifying to some people.
  • Many scenes involving brutal bloody murders portrayed comically.

Sex & Nudity

  • Patrick's notebook has nude drawings of his victims, but these are awful and look like something a child would draw.
  • Two women undress and one just has a dress and the other has only a bra and panties on and dances. No nudity
  • Some characters make lewd comments about female characters appearances.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Patrick kills a woman by eating some of her flesh. This is not seen but blood is sprayed on sheets.
  • The final sequence, in which it is revealed that Patrick may have been hallucinating the events of the film, is not exactly frightening, but might be unnerving for some.
