Come Take a Trip in My Airship is another of the Fleischer Screen Song cartoons I watched on YouTube
This was another Max and Dave Fleischer Screen Song cartoon I watched on YouTube. In this one, a woman is washing the dishes, with the help of a little creature behind the faucet licking the plates, when her piano arrives which she kisses-which kisses her back!-when it is pulled up to her. As she plays the keys, the scene transitions to live action footage of a moving skyline as the narrator tells of how 27 years before, many people didn't believe the "flying machines" of the time would last and how songs were sung to ridicule them. So now the title song is being sung and, as usual, the bouncing ball comes on to jump on the lyrics. Then, near the end, characters replace that ball before one more gag is depicted and folks, this is a weird one! So on that note, Come Take a Trip in My Airship is worth a look.
