George Studdy introduces the British movie-going public to his dog, Bonzo. With a mixture of human and canine behavior, Bonzo tries to get a plate of sausages from a high shelf and torments the cat, all to the horror of the woman who seems to be in charge of him.
The dog was a popular cartoon animal whom Studdy had introduced to the pages of THE SKETCH and to some war-time propaganda cartoons. The little fellow was popular enough to enable his creator to live well through his death in 1948 at the age of 70.
