Though you may not know his name, I can pretty well guarantee you've seen a handful of the movies that fill out his massive IMDb resume. A frequent collaborator with Charles Band's Full Moon, David DeCoteau was the man behind the camera for such gems as Puppet Master 3, Shrieker, Dreamaniac and Creepozoids. Though he's one of the busiest independent filmmakers working within the genre, with a whopping four films set for release this year, DeCoteau still managed to make the time to put together a very special event called Day of the Scream Queens, where a handful of the lovely ladies that have appeared in his films over the years will gather to meet and greet their fans.
Taking place at the Burbank, California horror boutique Dark Delicacies, the event's guest list is filled out with some of the most iconic scream queens in the history of horror, including Linnea Quigley,...

With Halloween in the air, we thought it would be fun to reach out to the horror genre's biggest and brightest stars - both legends in the industry and up-and-coming superstars - to ask them two quick questions: What's your biggest fear, and what's your favorite scary movie? Read on for the results!
Some of the results will make you laugh. Some will make you shiver... and some, well some are just too funny for words. Sit back and get ready to hear from the likes of Anne Rice, John Carpenter, Robert Englund, the "Ghost Adventures" crew, cast members from "The Walking Dead," George A. Romero, and many - Many - more. Who knows? You may even find some new movies you should check out or at least revisit.
Let the scares begin!

Jason Paul Collum is the genre director of several films and was featured as Bachelor of the Month in Instinct magazine. He is mentored by legendary scream queen Brinke Stevens who starred in two of his more popular efforts October Moon and its sequel November Son. Both of these films were refreshingly different films in the genre as they were gay psychological horror thrillers. We had the chance to ask him a few questions about his career and these films. Here is what he had to say:
For horror fans who may be unfamiliar with you, who is Jason Paul Collum and what is he all about?
I'm a guy with my hands in a lot of pots. I write, direct, produce and very occasionally act (a loose term) in mostly low-budget, independent films. I've worked on projects with budgets as low as $500 and as high as $150,000. I even worked...

We've been tracking the progress of director Bob Willems' Renfield: The Undead for quite a while, and now it looks like we're approaching the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel. The rough cut is done, and an official website and trailer are both due in the next few weeks. We're not sure how they found the time, but the filmmakers just sent over a couple of new concept posters for us to share with our readers.
Willems and crew are in heavy post and compositing for the film, but there is some other news: Jeff Walton (Curse of the Puppet Master, Shrieker, Invisible Mom, Invisible Dad, The Brotherhood 1&2) is composing the music for Renfield: The Undead. In addition to premiering at the Bram Stoker Film Festival in Whitby, England this October, Renfield will also be screened at The American Film Market in November.
