Three more women have come forward with accusations of sexual misconduct against Dustin Hoffman, the prominent Hollywood star who first came under fire back in November for alleged harassment.
Variety has the report, in which Cori Thomas alleges that Hoffman exposed himself to her when she was only 16. Melissa Kester, meanwhile, claims that Dustin Hoffman sexually assaulted her while recording audio for the film Ishtar. A third woman, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, also slammed the long-time Hollywood veteran for alleged inappropriate behavior.
Since the time of publication, Hoffman’s attorney, Mark A. Neubauer, has outright denied all claims, calling the accusations against the actor “defamatory falsehoods.”
The first predatory incident occurred in 1980, when Cori Thomas, who was 16 at the time, wound up in a hotel room with Dustin Hoffman while waiting for her mother to collect her. According to the playwright, the actor proceeded to drop his...

Thomas alleges that Hoffman then walked out in front of her naked, further alleging that he made suggestive comments to her. Thomas says that when Hoffman eventually put on his robe, he asked her to massage his feet.

Chicago – One of the most remarkable things about Robert Altman was his refusal to give in to the pressures of pleasing an audience. He made films for himself. There may be no better example of this than “3 Women,” a film that defies too much examination in part because it’s purposefully vague as it was based on a dream of Mr. Altman’s. He had a dream, woke up, and turned it into a treatment, from which they shot the movie. It’s surreal, bizarre, and totally mesmerizing, and is one of the newest Criterion Blu-rays.
Blu-Ray Rating: 5.0/5.0
“3 Women” came in a period of transition for Robert Altman. In the late ’70s, he was already an internationally renowned director, having released “Mash,” “McCabe & Mrs. Miller,” and “Nashville” earlier in the decade. He would get more experimental in the ’70s (and then disappointingly less so in the ’80s), but a lot...

Rapidly running out of goodwill among his Democratic peers as more X-rated details emerge, Rep. Anthony Weiner faces an ethics investigation led by a committee stacked with Southern conservatives and liberal Democrats fighting for women's rights. Patricia Murphy reports. Plus, Democrats abandon Weiner and more news updates.
If Rep. Anthony Weiner is hoping a get sympathetic hearing from his peers by "welcoming" a House Ethics Committee investigation into his bizarre email escapades with women, he will probably be sorely disappointed with the results-if he hangs on that long.

The panel that would investigate Weiner's sexually charged online relationships is stacked with Southern, swift-justice Christian conservatives unlikely to relate to a sexting, swearing New Yorker, and liberal Democrats who have dedicated their careers to protecting the rights of women, both in the workplace and online. For Phyllida Lloyd, the decision must have been straightforward. Not only has she worked with Meryl Streep before, but she knows that – in casting the Oscar-winner as Margaret Thatcher in the forthcoming biopic Iron Lady – she is almost guaranteed a hit. Streep, after all, is both extremely famous and extremely bankable. Last year Forbes named her the seventh best value-for-money star in Hollywood. The third woman on the list, she was trumped only by Anne Hathaway and Jennifer Aniston. She is, at least on the face of things, a pretty sound bit of casting.
