Mario Van Peebles has no eyebrows in the film. It's noticeable when he takes off his glasses in several scenes. This possibly due in part due to shooting his previous film, Solo.
The film is basically set in the living room of John Stockwell's house. With the exception of a few scenes taking place in the bedroom, the basement and the opening and final shots of the exterior of the house.
John Henson who plays Timon was the star of the E! Entertainment show, "The Soup" when he was cast to be in this film following in the footsteps of Greg Kinnear, who was the shows' original host from 1991 to 1995, the year that Henson replaced him in which Kinnear would make his major film debut in the remake of "Sabrina" starring Oscar Nominee Harrison Ford and coincidentally, the year this film came out, Kinnear would go on to co-star with Jack Nicholson and Helen Hunt in "As Good As It Gets", for which he would be nominated for Best Supporting Actor and Nicholson and Hunt would win for Best Actor and Actress respectively and the film also being nominated for Best Picture.
Very Bad Things (1998) shares an identical plot setup, although this was a coincidence. Minor changes were made to the script of Very Bad Things once the film's makers learned about Stag's existence, in order to avoid any legal complications.
