Jurassic World: Director Colin Trevorrow shared a new image from Jurrassic World via social media, in honor of actor-filmmaker Richard Attenborough, who passed away last weekend. Attenborough, of course, played industrialist John Hammond in both Jurassic Park and The Lost World: Jurassic Park, and the photo, with the simple caption "In Memoriam," shows a statue of the character that reportedly appears in Trevorrow's new film, due for release on June 12, 2015. [Twitter] Vacation: Chris Hemsworth (Thor: The Dark World) is in negotiations to appear in Vacation, the upcoming new installment in the series that began in 1983. Waukesha, Wis. — The music icon whose solid-body electric guitar paved the way for rock `n' roll is now getting a permanent exhibit in his Wisconsin hometown, after more than a decade in the making.
Les Paul, a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame musician who performed regularly into his 90s with his band, developed technology and recording techniques that set the standard in the music industry, including tape echo, multitrack recordings and overdubs . There are permanent exhibits devoted to him at other museums, including the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum in Cleveland, but he wanted something closer to home.
So he loaned the Waukesha County Museum personal items and helped raise funds to make the effort a reality, including writing a personal $25,000 check for expenses and playing a concert to raise $100,000.
"I think it's more personal," he told The Associated Press in 2004. "It's going to be the best exhibit of all.

We've got two Cmt shows premiering tonight, both of which seem to be rather blatant knock offs of other reality series which just leaves me further convinced that there are too many television channels and yet there seems to be no end to the creation of new ones. Which leads me to wonder; what would your ideal television channel be? And doesn't the internet sort of already fill that purpose? If you like Animal Planet you'll love YouTube, featuring as many videos of cute animals as you can stand and all catered to your particular desires. Love those "Stupidest Videos Part 74638" shows? Same deal. Those of you without my hang-ups about watching non-legally licensed material have even more options at your disposal. But we are talking about television so if you Could program a TV channel for a day, what would you pick? While you're thinking about that, here's your...

November is here, and you probably know what that means for television: Sweeps! It’s that bountiful time of the TV season when the networks try to ramp up viewership as much as possible so they can set their advertising prices for the year. All of which means means we’ll see crazy guest stars! Specials! Awards shows! Big interviews! For example, Cher is going on 20/20 to talk Burlesque Nov. 19; ABC is airing the Country Music Awards on Nov. 10; Oprah will sit down with the Jackson clan on Nov. 8; and Gwyneth Paltrow, well, she’s appearing on both the CMAs on Nov.

The problem with Shark Week is that after writing about it for a few days, you're going to end up sort of repeating yourself. The same thing happens with any major multi day television event (as those of you who made it through my Winter Olympics coverage can attest) and I'm like "Man, how can I spin this material for another two three days" (I keep thinking it's Wednesday for some reason.) Then I open my inbox and remember why I love writing for Pajiba. Dudley's Mom sent me a link today detailing the heartbreaking, frustrating and deeply important search for nothing less than free range shark poop. Enjoy. Here's tonight's TV:
8:00pm: "Breakthrough with Tony Robbins" on NBC
"Hell's Kitchen" on Fox
"Marvin Hamlisch Presents: The Way We Were - The 70s" on PBS
"Pretty Little Liars" on ABC Family
"Wipeout" on ABC
9:00pm: "18 to Life" on The CW.

I am amazed how often I can do absolutely nothing of note all day and still feel tired in the afternoon. Like, it doesn't matter when I wake up, when I went to bed, what I did or what I've eaten, around 3 p.m. or so I just hit a wall where my body's like "Nap Time!!!" Caffeine doesn't help, sometimes it just makes it worse. Anyway, Misery Monday is half back tonight, so I'm sure there's plenty of you out there with your popcorn ready to watch some painful footage of addicts/people with Ocd work through their issues so you can feel better about your own lives. I think that's the point, is that the point? Those shows just make me horribly uncomfortable. At least with "Hoarders" I usually get inspired to do some cleaning or just throw shit out more often in general. Anyway, here's Monday night's TV:
