  • Gunfire and cannon fire in different scenes throughout the movie. No characters are ever seen getting shot.
  • Billy Bones suddenly dies of a heart attack. The character "Dead Tom" is just a skeleton, at one point it is implied that he has been "killed". It is implied that "Flint" killed some of his crew, their skeletons are seen hanging from a tree briefly.
