In the opening scene at Tyson's Corner mall, Simms' tie changes from a brightly, multi-colored tie to a brown tie when confronted by his supervisor at the Dunkin' Donuts stand (which Simms refers to as an "ugly, brown tie") and then back to the multi-colored tie when he is being promoted to guard the First Kid in Morton's office.
When the First Kid punches Rob in the nose, it starts to bleed. However, there is no trace of blood on Simms' suit even though Rob put his face on it while Simms was keeping him away from the First Kid.
When Luke sneaks out to the mall to meet "mongoose12" his dog brandy is sitting on the bed which is made, then he calls her over and they sneak out through the passage. When the secret service agents unlock the doors (which by the way one door would need to be latched in order for them to be locked at all, which they're not, the agents go into the room, and the bed is unmade like it had been slept in.
President Davenport's Secret Service code name in the film is "Eagle", while his son's code name is "Prince". In real life, the Secret Service always assigns the First Family code names that begin with the same letter.
The house arrest bracelet is places on Luke's wrist. Those are placed on the ankle.
When Luke gets beaten up at school, a cameraman can be seen behind Simms. However, the cameraman is *supposed* to be seen. He is not part of the film crew, but instead an actor playing a paparazzo recording the fight.
There are 2 games on the Sega Saturn console that the "First Kid" is playing in his room while talking to Sam.
During the Dunkin Donuts scene, Simms and Dash both flash badges, however these were not the 5 pointed star Secret Service badges. These appear to be normal Police badges.
During the training sequence, Simms has the same sweat pattern on each shirt that he wears.
When Luke is chatting with Mongoose12 on SnakeChat, Mongoose12 misspells "MacGyver" as "MacGuyver".
