Ghost are celebrating another triumphant year with a new career-spanning streaming compilation titled 13 Commandments. Among the tracks is the song “Zenith,” which previously only received a physical release.
A press release describes the set as, “A treasure trove for the most fervent devotees and new initiates alike, Ghost’s 13 Commandments compilation chronicles the band’s metamorphosis from Scandinavian curiosity to world-straddling creative colossus — all that and fans are rewarded with the wider release of Ghost’s cult tune ‘Zenith.”‘
The band’s eventful 2023 included the release of the covers EP Phantomime, as well as a new version of “Spillways” featuring Def Leppard’s Joe Elliott and a cover of Shakespears Sister’s “Stay” featuring Patrick Wilson for the movie Insidious: The Red Door.
Ghost also embarked on a five-month, four-continent world tour, including a summer US run with Amon Amarth, and recently received a Grammy nomination for their...

The 13th annual Los Angeles Jewish Film Festival will begin on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 and conclude on Wednesday, May 2nd with films from around the world celebrating the Jewish experience.
The opening night begins with a Bar Mitzvah or 13th year, style party and a tribute to Sammy Davis Jr. with the premiere of a new documentary Sammy Davis Jr. — I Gotta Be Me, an amazing Documentary made for American Masters which I was elated to see when it premiered at the Toronto Film Festival. Sammy Davis Jr. was the ultimate performer. His worldview was unique and self made just as he was. It did not conform to the liberal “style” of the time, but it was not conservative either.

The Weinstein Company is looking to get into the TV business, and they are in the process of developing several TV series, including adaptations of Frank Miller's Sin City and Stephen King's The Mist. Both of these are properties that have potential to be great series.
While talking to the New York Times, Harvey Weinstein talked about their TV division, saying, “The way to add stability to the company is to be in the television business,” he then went on to say that his goal was to have a television operation “as powerful as the theatrical division.”
They currently have more than a half a dozen series in development, those series include:
A 10-part series with Frank Darabont, based on Dimension’s film version of Stephen King’s The Mist.Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez would develop a Sin City TV series.A 10-episode detective drama set in ancient Egypt called Book of the Dead.

While The Weinstein Company is mostly known for both prestige and genre films, the company is now pushing further into the realm of television production. A piece in The New York Times spoke with both Bob and Harvey Weinstein about the small screen projects they have in the works.
Two of the biggest surprises are TV versions of Dimension film titles to join the already announced "Scream" TV pilot currently being prepped. The first is a television series based on Frank Miller's "Sin City" comics. Both Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez would produce the series with the aim of getting the show ready to follow the August release of the film "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For".
The second is a proposed ten-part event series adaptation of Stephen King's novella "The Mist". The article suggests Frank Darabont, who directed and adapted the story into the 2007 film for Dimension,...

Who looked more lovely in Lanvin? Vote!
Whether summery with strappy sandals or paired with a chic blazer, both Courteney Cox and Kate Moss took a walk on the wild side in Lanvin’s python-print frock — but which look did you like better?
The Cougar Town star opted for a more casual, summer look when she paired her dress with a belt and sandals, while the stylish supermodel chose to dress it up with a white blazer and pointy Louboutin heels, giving it a bit of her signature edge.
While both stars look fabulous per usual, for me Kate gets the win. Her white blazer over the animal-print Lanvin frock adds a sweet and chic vibe to her lavish look. While I do appreciate Courtney’s effort to keep her get-up comfortable, Kate’s cool edge totally won me over.
Yes, confidence is a woman’s best accessory — but sometimes beauty is pain,...

Jamie Foxx is set to star in Screen Gems' comedy The Break Up Handbook for writer-director Daniel Taplitz and producer Lisa Tornell. The project is scheduled to go into production in December in Los Angeles. Handbook is a farcical comedy about a man (Foxx) who, after being unceremoniously dumped by his fiancee, pens a how-to book on breaking up and becomes a best-selling author on the subject. Not wanting his male friends to suffer the same fate, he gives them advice on dumping their mates, and a comedy of errors ensues. Screen Gems senior vp production Stacy Kolker Cramer is overseeing the project for the studio. Foxx, repped by CAA and manager Jaime King, most recently appeared in Columbia Pictures' Ali and just wrapped production on RKO Pictures' crime drama Shade. Taplitz, repped by Original Artists Agency, wrote and directed the feature Commandments, starring Aidan Quinn and Courteney Cox. His recent writing credits include the telefilm Little Richard and miniseries Black River.
