Despite absolutely nothing occurring, this is a cute little film

Warning: Spoilers
This is a short film with perhaps the most boring story in history--and yet the whole thing is still strangely watchable. The film begins with three people sitting in front of the television in Germany and they are waiting to see Boris Becker play in the US Tennis Open. I thought that no one watched tennis on the television, but apparently these three do--and they are very, very, very devoted. Despite a rain-out the day before, once again they sit there transfixed to the television in the hope that something will happen--despite all the rain and the stoppage of play. The utter absurdity of three people essentially throwing their lives away hoping that the show airs is kind of funny--like the thought of a person writing thousands of movie reviews even though very few will end up reading them (ouch, that hurts)! Despite the apparently boring topic, the film makers and actors manage to make it fun and very ironic--and worth seeing.
