Beautifully shot tale of mistaken identity.

The gorgeous cinematography in "Angry Cafe" lends to the clausterphobia of being stuck in a cafe during rain storm, which is where and when most of the story takes place. Race and gender relations in this film work to create a sense of the mistrust felt between different cultures as well as with strangers. The contrast of the dark cafe against the bright, washed out hallucinations of one of the patrons in the cafe demonstrates the misguided attributes that can be associated with misidentification.
