Actor Peter Spellos had over 150 screen acting and vocal performance credits to his name, but genre fans are most likely to remember him as Orville Ketchum from the slasher movie Sorority House Massacre II and its companion piece Hard to Die, as well as the brief appearance he made as the character Tracy’s father in Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare. Outside of horror, he’s best known for providing the voice of Sky-Byte in 39 episodes of the animated series Transformers: Robots in Disguise. Unfortunately, we have very sad news to share today, as it has been confirmed that Spellos has passed away at age 69 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born on March 1, 1954, Spellos passed away yesterday, November 19th, at the Franciscan Hospice House in Indianapolis. His brother, James Spellos, notified TMZ that his family is planning an online “celebration of life” gathering for his fans.

"All you need... is within you." Saban Films has revealed an official US trailer for The Secret Kingdom, a CGI-filled fantasy adventure movie from filmmaker Matt Drummond. He is the same Australian filmmaker behind the CGI movies My Pet Dinosaur and Dinosaur Island, and this new one already opened in Australia a few weeks ago. It's getting a US release in select theaters in June, and it'll be on VOD to watch as well. Join the Pangolin Pling, Elwyn, Mendax the Dragon, Ego and Ergo and all of the characters on the greatest family adventure. Siblings Verity and Peter's trip to the old family mansion takes a turn when the floor of their room suddenly gives way and they fall into an underground chamber where they are met by a civilization of creatures. If you’ve been following board games for the past couple of years, you will almost certainly heard of Dinosaur Island, which debuted last year in a blockbusting Kickstarter. Finally, after a few relatively modest print runs, the game is back in print and available to buy, and along with it is a big box expansion called Totally Liquid. Today, we’ll be looking at both the base game and the expansion in a back to back review.
For those who haven’t heard of Dinosaur Island, it can broadly be summarised as the board game interpretation of Jurassic Park, albeit with a highly individual art style that uses neon colours like hot pink and bright green to accentuate its features. The game itself is built around a worker placement mechanism and split across several phases, making Dinosaur Island a relatively complex game that will appeal mostly to experienced gamers.

Burbank - Traci Lords was the biggest name in showbiz in 1986, but for all the wrong reasons. She had become a major star in the adult industry. Her run started as Penthouse Pet of the month for the issue that exposed Vanessa Williams in September of 1984. Dozens of video titles appeared as she became the it girl noted for her youthful looks.
There was a reason for her looking so young: she’d used fake IDs to appear 20. She was under 18 in dozens of her adult films. Only one was made after she turned 18. The FBI and other police agencies poured over the valley investigating everyone connected to the industry. In the midst of this ugliness, Traci Lords still dreamed of being an actress. Luckily she found entry into the profession through the gates of Roger Corman’s studio.
She was signed to remake Not of This Earth with Jim Wynorski directing.
