Goofs

Miklo had two parole hearings, supposedly several years apart, but all the members of the parole board are wearing the same outfits and sitting in the same places for both hearings.

When Miklo shoots Spider, he falls down a hill, and lands dead on the road, in the first scene his arms are at his sides, in the second scene his arms are stretched above his head, then back at his side again.

When Paco goes to fight Spider, he takes out a balisong (butterfly) knife. After he's done with the incident, he clearly folds a folding lockback knife (different type of knife altogether).

Montana tells Miklo he is the elected spokesman for La Onda, but all the council members have an equal vote. However, he is called Jefe (Chief/Boss) and gives orders like a leader, not a co-equal council member, would.

Miklo's hair is blonde back in East Los, but when he enters prison his hair is now black.

After La Onda and the BGA eliminate the AV leadership. Magic and Bonafide are seen walking thru a cell block with most of the cells empty and the cell doors open. No prison would allow this after an inmate or inmates were found murdered. Movement would be restricted, and the prisoners would be on lock down in their cells.

When their rival gang is jumping Cruzito, and they drop him on the fire hydrant, the fire hydrant bends.

In the scene where the young boy is laying dead on the ground from a heroin overdose, the young actor can be seen to blink his eyes.

In prison where Magic Mike and Miklo are talking, Miklo leans over to whisper something to Magic. If you look at Miklo's shoulders, you can see his singlet tan that he must have gotten while shooting the scenes in the beginning, but that part was at least 5 years before.

When Magic takes Miklo's tray it is empty, but when Big Al puts the pork chop on it the tray is full.

At the beginning of the if the fight with Spider, Al Green's song "Take Me To The River" can be heard. The fight took place in the year 1972 however the song came out in 1974.

The sound microphone is visible in the prison scene when Miklo and guy are talking to Ryder.

After Miklo gets shot and they are driving away from the cop and they turn up the alley and the cop passes them you can see the squib wire for the blood pack on Milkos shirt.

When Paco and Cruz are walking down the hospital steps and the scene ends , the camera shadow hits Cruzito's face .
