Exclusive: Topher Grace’s musical comedy One Shot has added another crooner to its cast. Singer-songwriter and record producer Jc Chasez, a founding member of the seminal boy band *Nsync, will join Grace and Taye Diggs in the film about a failed Broadway performer turned stage manager who must wrangle the eccentric cast and crew of a new play to save the show’s opening night.
Grace is starring as said stage manager in addition to producing the indie film, which shoots next month in Mexico City. Chasez will play Grace’s nemesis, the star of the musical play within the movie who sleeps with his ex-girlfriend. Isaac Rentz is directing from a script by Gerry De Leon and Greg Lisi. Daniel Posada and Jason Tamasco are also producing One Shot for Mexico-based Dark Factory Entertainment with Alex Garcia of Ag Studio.

This is how confident we were that Tony Lucca would advance through this week's battle rounds on The Voice: We got a hold of him Monday morning — just as he'd completed a weekend performing on a rock cruise — to ask him if his missing facial hair would make a comeback in subsequent episodes, what really happened after Christina Aguilera failed to recognize her former fellow Mouseketeer ("Wake up," Christina!), and whether or not coach Adam Levine is actually a loveable, cocky rock star (or just a cocky rock star) when the cameras aren't rolling.
And, of course we grilled him all about Mmc (that's Mickey Mouse Club for those who didn't grow up in the 90s), from dating Keri Russell and making Britney Spears swoon, to his affection for the soap-within-the-show Emerald Cove. In our minds, there's no doubt that it was the Mouse Club faithful that helped send...

If the thought of Oscar-nominated actor Ryan Gosling and multi-hyphenate crooner Justin Timberlake teaming up to sing and dance to old school R&B makes your fan girl heart tingle, I'll do you two better... because they've already done it! And the song is none other than the Boyz II Men classic, "Motownphilly!" Trust me, your week's not going to get any better than this.
You see, back in the early '90s, young Gosling and Timberlake were two of the new kids on Disney's "Mickey Mouse Club." (Also in their class: Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears.) And the "Mickey Mouse Club," or "Mmc" as it was also called, employed its clubhouse of young performers in activities like the performing of skits, the reading of fan mail, and, best of all, the performance of song-and-dance numbers set to covers of contemporary pop tunes.
Like many kids back then, I rushed...
